MAFH25 Filter Hood was designed for use at the bench in jewelry making, dental laboratories, and industrial operations to collect dust and larger particles produced from light grinding and polishing. The CE Compliant Hood is made of powder coated, heavy gauge steel. It has a removable water-tight metal tray, clear polycarbonate shield, and goose neck LED light that is bright and long lasting. Three filters (2 polyester and one charcoal) come packed with the unit that are easy to change and ship out to a refiner. It can be moved anywhere on a bench top for use with a flexible shaft handpiece, micromotor, and other bench top tools. Question:	Can it buff wood
Answer:	You can use it to buff wood if you know what you're doing. You need the correct compound and correct buffing wheel, plus a gentle hand. Part of the problem of buffing wood on this machine, is that the speed is too fast, so you run the risk of scorching the wood, especially if you apply too much pressure. It is preferable to buff wood on a slower machine, i.e. 1750 rpm or slower.
Question:	Can this polish rocks and fossils
Answer:	It could if you had a way of holding whatever you want to polish. The buffing wheels weren’t up to standard and the polishing compounds were dried out. The machine itself was fine.
Question:	how do you clean the buffing wheels pads
Answer:	If you have wool buffing wheels, they can be cleaned using the AES cleaning tool. You can find it here on Amazon.
