Makita Corp is in Japan, but as with all tool manufacturers they have component plants in cheaper labor counties even if they have assembly plants in higher wage countries. But my Makita's of late, all seem to be made and assembled in China.

Answer:	Yes it comes with all the accessories, I don't know why it says "tool only". But be aware that the description mentions features that the tool does not have: no soft start, no AC/DC switch, no rotatable head unless you remove 4 screws.

Answer:	Yup, works with 3 amp. I also use 4 amp batteries. The main difference is the length of time the tool will will run with strong power. Depending on what you need, in terms of how long you plan to grind, 3 amp may be enough. I have 2 spare batteries that I charge on the dual fast charger. The grinder will take two batteries to empty before one is charged full if grinder is used at full load virtually constantly. Don’t get me wrong, I think that this is a great tool

Answer:	It doesn't come with the charger. The battery can be charged in other Makita tools that have a charger using the same battery.
Question:	What is the difference between the xago9z and the xago4z
Answer:	This should take everything besides the very old 3.0 and older 1.5 ah batteries. Even then, you can file a couple plastic tabs off the battery to make it work. Battery should have a star on it. I have ran this grinder with a 2.0, 3.0, 4.0 and 5.0 ah batteries. It is a great tool and big upgrade from my 1st gen Makita xlt grinder
Question:	Wheres the charger
Answer:	No. Craftsman has some tools that use the black and decker batteries, some that use their C3 batteries, and these. The V20 is it’s own deal and it does not interchange with anything else. It’s a cluster considering that there are two different craftsman batteries that sound and look alike (20V and V20) that don’t interchange.

Answer:	It did not. It is an add on tool. There are no batteries or chargers with this item. Hope that helps. Works really well though.

Answer:	My application is plugged into a weatherproof outdoor box. Then up thru a conduit pipe about 4 feet to the outdoor jct box connection to the light fixture/sensor. Works great. This is a heavy duty cord.
