Question:	How do you know how much grease to put in the head or what kind or the needle size
Answer:	There are small pump grease guns specifically for air tools. They are available through Ingersol Rand, and other companies. The grease for this particular line of IR tools should be from IR. It’s safe to put in about three good shots of grease. Don’t overdo it. Seal damage can occur and reduce the life of the tool.

Answer:	3 cfm to operate, 18 cfm draw over long pulls.

Answer:	No they are not knockoffs, its the real deal. I went through a few cheap ones that didn`t last. This grinder is rock solid and I can see it lasting me forever. Highly recommend!
Question:	How do you put grease in the grease port
Answer:	Where the tool transitions 90 degrees, there is a little raised ball on the one side...it's spring loaded. You need a pointed grease adapter, a needle but not the hypodermic needle...a chainsaw grease gun works well. Oil through the air port never gets to the 90 degree portion of the tool.

Answer:	Don't use this blade to cut metal. If you have a Dremel rotary tool, buy a metal cutting blade for that device. I don't know if a metal cutting blade is made for an angle grinder but you can check around.

Answer:	Using this tool with water is optional, not required, but it will only increase it's lifetime, performance, and will decrease dust. However, using it wet will produce sludge which needs to be disposed of properly.

Answer:

It lists 24CFM as the under load air usage. That pretty much means to run it continuously you need a 7.5 hp two stage compressor. Now I have run die grinders on phony 5-6 hp (actual 2 hp) single stage upright compressors with an 80 gallon tank and you can work for a while (10 min) before you need to take a break and let the compressor catch up and shut off. The smaller the tank, the shorter the continuous use time before a break. If you are thinking about running it with something you can pick up I wouldn't try. They are really made for nail guns that take short bursts of air.

Answer:	The shield on the angle grinder is not removable without tools.

Answer:	That is a very hard question to answer. You might check the I.R. website to see if they list DB level. To me, it sounds like every other one that I have heard. For short uses, it doesn't bother me at all. If I were going to run it for hours, I would add hearing protection.

Question:	How much cfm does this die grinder consume? my compressor will put out 2.6 cfm at 90 psi, will this be enough
Answer:	This tool requires 22 SCFM @ Load. In other words, to run this tool continuously, non-stop, you would need a compressor pump capable of running 22cfm @ 90psi. In reality, As long as you have a large enough tank, you will be able to run this tool with no problem for several minutes continuously. Very few home shop users will have a compressor this large. I run this on a 5hp 60 gallon single stage with no problem.

Answer:	Weird. I just checked my toolbox and my 90 degree cp875 is red with no black logo. I checked my purchase history and it shows a black logo. Must be something new they are doing to the 90 degree models. However, the straight grinder pictured has no black logo.

Answer:	Please ensure you are using the correct type, frequency and amount of grease. The anglehead should be greased every 8 hours of run time with 2cc of #67 grease.

Answer:	The collet is loosened using one wrench on the collet nut, and the spindle lock on the head. The spindle does not have flats for a second wrench.
