Answer:	Ok, so this was bugging me also on what the difference between the models is, So I called Bissell and they informed me that there is no difference the last # added to the model is added for different stores carrying the product. Answer:	I have three of them, older model bottom tank not translucent. I estimate about threes years with not very much use but when I use it, I use it hard. Great when it was new. Now very loud and don't have much suction, almost useless. Very well constructed though, solid motor and impeller but impossible to change the motor brushes without ripping it out from the holder - maybe need special tool, didn't have to be that way. Filters are the weak link, need to be cleaned constantly even before the tank is filled to one inch. I think the dusts got into the motor/impeller and eat up the bearings.

Answer:	the canister for this unit is very well constructed and very thick. I can see that drilling holes and bolting on some wheels would be easy. but, vac master does make a unit with wheels.

Answer:	I have this vacuum unit attached to my Shopfox table saw and its powerful enough to clear away the dust generated. But I had to eventually attach it with a dust cyclon because the vacuum cleaner would become full very quickly. At 82 decibels it sounds like...well a vacuum cleaner. Nevertheless I really like this unit and it will do the job of clearing your table saw, but I'm still looking for another unit for my overall dust collection system to use with other tools in my shop...through a set of PVC pipes. But I'm definitely going to keep this unit just because of the powerful blower it has on the other end, which works extremely well blowing out dust in tools and blowing away dust off the shop floor.
Question:	What h/p is it
Answer:	It appears to be 1-3/4" hose and I had to buy several different adapters before getting it to hook up to all of my 2" dust machines, but it is all worth it. This little Vacuum is small and only 5 amp motor but it is very quiet and does a great job of collecting all dust from my 10" table saw and sliding compound miter saw.

Right now it's not even mounted on the wall and it's working perfectly. Except I had to left the top half off the canister to check how full it was getting. That's when I found the extra accessories.

Answer:	The motor does have replacement brushes. The motors will last approximately 800 to 900 hours. You can check the brushes by removing the top lid.

How it works

Once dirt and debris is swept up, it is transported through a network of hidden pipes into the power unit where it swirls around like a cyclone, separating the large debris from the small. Vacu-Maid’s cyclonic units also feature a patented Air Channel, which allows an optional plastic can liner to be used inside the dirt canister, making emptying the can less hassle and less mess.
