Question:	would I be able to remove floor tile with this
Answer:	Ceramic tile I assume? This is a very powerful hammer drill. I use it to drill or bust thru all kinds of masonry products, poured concrete, blocks, brick, mortar etc.. It would have no problem with the tile, but you would have to be very careful not to damage the subfloor underneath, for tile typically some kind of cement board. This drill would easily punch thru that too. Check with a Home Improvement store or the Internet for a more appropriate tool/ technique. Otherwise I do endorse this product when used for the kinds of jobs designed for.

Answer:	It expands to 3" (or approximately 3.3" inside a 0.35" thickness). So if your phone is 3" or less in width, it will hold it. The bracket swivels, so the phone can be orientated in any desired position.

Answer:	I wouldn't even call it an installation....it just has two prongs that hold onto a vent louvre. If you want to remove it, just pull and it slips right off, but stays put when in use.

Answer:	1 year repair / replace parts. ive dropped mine ran it for hours on end and it still runs perfect. so far anything bosch tool related ive been happy with.
Question:	Is this a good tool to drill holes in masonry ceiling to hang a lamp? My hammer drill with masonry bit is not doing the job
Answer:	Yes.. they take their own bits, but it does a great job drilling holes. I've drilled 1/2" holes through my solid 8" thick foundation several times. It is hard concrete with river rock from the 1940's so it is very hard. It goes through pretty quick.

Attention:

Not recommend to use it for breaking concrete and tiles, but for cleaning thinset, tile and other stubborn adhesives. The blade is flex enough as much is necessary to remove the thinset, and the tiles. If the floor scarper is used properly, in certain angle the floor scraper can remove the tiles and the thinset together in one pass.



The bolts may come loose after certain period of time working, We would like suggest to re-tighten the bolts right away when they are becoming loosed in order to prevent the blade from breaking in the holes area and affecting its performance.



Just a small tip for the application, when you use this floor scraper, please try to avoid it from hitting any plastic and metal including nails, anchors and screws, etc. Although it may not damage the scaling blade, the resistant stress will pass back to the chisel body, plus the vibration power during the work, it may lead to breakage at the place where most stress is concentrated in the long run.

Answer:	I never purchased a 12 inch blade, but I may have purchased the 7 1/4 inch version of this blade. A 100 tooth blade should be fine to cut laminate flooring.

Question:	No torque rating? Does anyone know the torque rating or max hole saw size in wood and steel
Answer:	I don't know that I would use it for wood, though I guess you could. It can be set to drill, to jack hammer, or to drill and jackhammer combined. Also, don't know about torque, but I found it to be sufficient for all applications I've tried it in. It is surprisingly powerful and durable for a snall handheld unit.
Question:	Does this have a 3rd setting to drill w/o hammer option so can core drill
Answer:	It has 3 options: 1: drill without hammer, only spining, 2: drill with hammer, 3: hammer only for chisel. No spinning...
Question:	Does this unit have the option of variable positions for chisel bit
Answer:	Yes, it can lock in position either horizontally or vertically, as I have used it in both positions. It may lock in other angles, but I have not tried it in angles other than parallel or perpendicular to the handle. I also will mention that this unit has performed admirably and I have absolutely no regrets with my purchase. I was able to remove old tile (put down in the 1950's with thick-set. I found it works best at lower speeds and sharp angles of attack. Take your time and you won't work up any sweat, letting the tool do the work. Hope this helps.
Question:	How do you place the drill bit in the hammer drill, I have been working on this task for a few hours,it do not grip the bits at all
Answer:	This drill does require the special SDS carbide drill bits that have three slots in the shank. I pull the nose piece back and press a little on the bit and it will slip into the drill. I then rotate the bit to ensure that it is locked into place. The slots in the SDS drill bits allows then to transfer the drills hammer action to the drill point. With this drill only bits that are marked SDS Plus will work.

Answer:	Metal roofing and siding usually runs aroound 28 ga. I stack a dozen sheets and cut them all at once. Here's my previous review...."Bought mine to cut steel roofing. Stacked 12 sheets of ribbed 28 ga. by 3' wide steel and cut all 12 sheets in one pass in matter of seconds and NO sparks! Used sabre saws and nibblers in past. No comparison for straight lines and speed. Have also been using it to cut angle iron and bar stock. Many times faster and cleaner than my 14" cutoff saw that uses an abrasive disc. Not having a shower of sparks and the accompanying fire hazard is a huge benefit. After several roofing jobs and many misc. cuts, it is still as sharp as new. If it ever does get dull, any saw shop can sharpen it for around $10 or less. The info says for thin steel but I consistantly cut up to 1" by 6" solid steel flat bar stock with no effort whatsoever. The 48 tooth blade doesn't cut thick steel any faster than this 68 tooth and the 48 tooth will not work as well on thin sheet steel. As a matter of fact, the 48 tooth is dangerous on thin stock as it will over-feed and grab. If you are cutting various different thickness of steel, buy this one, and skip purchasing the 48 tooth. This 68 tooth blade is all you will ever need. For best results give it a shot of WD-40 on both sides of body in between cuts. A little bit of lubrication makes cuts effortless. Yor will find yourself actually holding back on it as it virtually self-feeds into the material. After one job this blade paid for itself many times over. Will never be without one again. Only regret is not buying one years ago." By the way, 55 gal. drums are usually 20 ga. I have even cut 1 1/2" drill steels with it.

Answer:	Without actually using each of the others, your question can't be answered. What I can tell you is that my son uses this hammer 12 hours a day alongside other men doing the same job. The others are envious of this hammer because it's so much easier to use than other hammers and doesn't cause as much physical discomfort as others can. When it wears out, it will be replaced with the same hammer. I hope this helps.

Runout will make the holes bigger than intended for example if I am drilling a 0.25" hole, my runout will turn it into a 0.31" hole. This is a problem if the fastener tolerances dont allow for the larger diameter...
