Answer:	Birdie develops pressure with air pump, not with hot steam pressure in the water reservoir. For safety, other brands takes 3-4 minutes to cool down , release pressure and refill. Birdie water tank can be refilled anytime. From my experience, full pumped pressure can shot 30s of steam. A full tank allows 5~10+ shots. The air pump and long cord are designed for big work.

Answer:	Honestly , I was dissapointed with this purchase. For one it holds about half a cup of water at most and in order to build up the pressure to blow steam you have to pump it with your thumb. So if u want some hot steam it'll get there if you got strong thumb muscle. Wag better with trigger type steamer . Just my two sense

Question:	Is this suitable for drilling 4x4 posts for cable railing? Can it handle
Answer:	It should work for 4 x 4 posts actually 3 1/2 x 3 1/2 drilling straight through the 4 x 4. If you are going to be doing stairs you will have to make yourself a jig based on the rise of your stair angle. I don't think the guide allows for enough angle to work for the stair riser. Hope this helps....
Question:	How does it stay secured on work piece
Answer:	If its rough work, such as drilling through a 6x6 post, its has holes that allow you fasten the base to the wood with screws. If its finished work, you need to make a jig. I traced the outline of the base on a piece of 3/4 plywood and cut a hole to fit the base. Then i secure the plywood with a clamp.

Answer:	The Milescraft drill guide is 1 1/16 inch thick by 4.5 inches long. Since the block is slightly "S" shaped it is roughly 1 3/4 inches wide.. The Milescraft is wider (more stable) and has rubber feet to keep it from sliding around. Possible down side is that it only accommodates 6 drill bit sizes (1/8,3/16,1/4,5/16,3/8,1/2).The all metal Gator tool goes from 1/16 to 3/8 in 1/16 inch increments. I have both and if I could only have one it would be the Milescraft.
Question:	My wife is a stone carver and sometimes needs a sculpture "pinned" to a base for display. Can I use this guide with a hammer drill on hard stone
Answer:	Yes if you use the proper size bit in the mating hole. Remember the POINT of the bit does the cutting. The flutes of the drill are there only for chip removal. The Titanium coating on the bit is a wear layer. It increases the life of the bit but does not increase sharpness or cutting ability. In this application it is no different from any other bit.
