The plastic thing built into the mouth of the bottle 'is' the dispenser.I had to come back here to find out how to dispense a drop. Thanks, ya'll. Obviously, squeezing the glass bottle didn't help.It said somewhere that "a vertical drop" is 5000 IU. So turn the bottle completely vertical. And then wait. If you keep the bottle in the refrigerator, the drops don't come out too fast, just one drop at a time. The first drop doesn't come out too quickly -- you can shake the bottle 'gently' to get the first drop to come out. The 2nd and 3rd drops come out faster, so be fast about turning the bottle back rightside-up when you get as many drops as you wanted.I think if you keep the bottle at room temperature, the drops come out faster, but can be harder to control. The bottle doesn't say anything about storage, but it's an oil, so keeping it cool should keep it potent longer. There is a Pure brand "Vitamin D3 (Vegan) Liquid" and a Pure brand "Vitamin D3 Liquid" being sold here. The *Vegan* D3 is derived from lichen. On the other hand, the (non-vegan) D3 apparently is derived from lanolin.

Answer:	I suggest using a spoon until you can get idea of exactly how the drop dispenser works. Once you invert the bottle you wait 1-2 seconds and 1 drop will fall. If you keep the bottle inverted then yes, more drop will quickly follow. It takes a bit of using to get the hang of the dispenser.

The bottle is very unsafely designed, it can lead to wrong dosage and toxicity. One drop contains 1000 IU that is higher then 800IU recommended by Mayo Clinic for ages 1 to 70. So you start with higher then safe dose right of the bet IF you know how big the drop should be which with this bottle and top is pure guesswork. This needs to be redesigned immediately for safety reasons! If you are buying this product you should go to any pharmacy or store that sells little bottles like Whole Foods etc. and ask for the dropper to buy, it cost few pennies and can be a life saver in this case, literarily. Almost any health store and cosmetic store has droppers, independent little ones or you can buy a bottle just like it with one that comes with it and use it as needed. Alternatively search amazon for dropper. Here is a whole bunch of droppers in all shapes and forms, including ones with bottles so this might be really a smart and safe solution until the manufacturer will figure out better way.
