Question:	why 2 buckets
Answer:	Yes, this will drop almost all the dust in the bucket. A small amount may go into the vac/filter. I have used this for sheetrock/joint compound sanding dust and it is very effective. When cutting plaster and sheetrock in a remodel my wife hold the vac hose near the blade and reduces the generated dust dramatically. I hope that answers your question.
Question:	Would this be useful for dust control from an orbital sander on wood trim and doors? I'm concerned that the sanding dust may be too fine
Answer:	The manufacturer says it works with almost any material, and I'm inclined to believe them after using the kit and watching other videos online. Drywall shouldn't be a problem, neither should the nails. Not too sure about the insulation, as that's pretty light and fibrous. But I've had it work well with pet hair up to a point. When the bucket starts to get 97.5%+ full the reeeally light stuff starts to make it past into the vac.
Question:	I need to vacuum after demolition. Have to pick up blown insulation, drywall, plaster nails etc. Will this bucket hold these items or just dust
Answer:	The Lowe’s bucket I connected my dust deputy to didn’t last very long. It’s not thick enough. Instead I went to Firehouse Subs and bought one of their empty 5-gallon pickle buckets for $3. It is much thicker and working great. And the $3 goes to a good cause.

Answer:	For my aplication -a sears 2 1/4 inch vac hose to both ports--go to a hardware in the plumbing and get 2 fernco 1 1/2'' x 2'' rubber adaptor---these measurements are deceiving because pvc pipe that use these fittings is measured from the inside THESE GO OVER THE OUT SIDE OF THE PVC HENSE THE CORRECT MEASUREMENTS FOR THIS APPLICATION ----very easy assembly--or return them and try a different size,if yours is different than mine.
Question:	Will this work for wet pickup? Will it separate water from the airflow using a high-flow (approximately 210 CFM) shop vac
Answer:	Yes, water spray is denser than air material, and ANY such material will get separated in a vortex collector. You can put a special foam filter on your shop vacuum interior - the companies make these for wet pickup. This prevents crap from getting into motor intake. If you look at inlet port up inside where the interior of the shop vacuum filter covers, you can clean out leaves and debris there with a screw driver. But much better to not let it get in there at all, since the motor is not made to disassemble and clean. (It should be.)
Question:	Is the flange at the base a standard size with a standard bolt pattern? If not, could I get the ID and OD dimensions
Answer:	Sorry I was slow to get back to you, been out of town. It is a 6 bolt configuration. Bolts I used were 5/16". From bolt to bolt is about 2 1/8". Straight across from outer bolt to outer bolt is 4 1/4". Inside diameter of Cyclone is 3" opening. Whether this is a standard flange I really don't know. You might check standard flange sizes somewhere on internet. Hope this helps.

Answer:	It does not. I just tried both adapters that come with the package. No go on either. With the K5 you need something that goes IN the dust port, as there is not much of an outside "lip" to attach anything. I use a reducer I believe I got at HD, fits inside the dust port, to a 2-1/2" dust collection hose. Hope that helps?

Answer:	Sorry for the extremely late reply, but I thought others might still be comparing the WEN and JET models of air cleaners. The WEN 3417 or 3415T are the units which should be compared directly to the JET 708620b. Those units have virtually identical CFM and hardware specs to the JET. The WEN 3410 you referenced in this question is made for a much smaller space and pumps a lot less air, so it's not really a valid comparison. Compare equivalent models that have similar CFM ratings in order to get a fair idea of how the two brands truly compare. In that scenario, the WEN is a very good alternative to the JET, particularly given the shipping damage many owners have reported when purchasing the JET unit. The units are likely pretty equal, but using poor packaging which provides inadequate shipping protection can turn any 5-star product into a 1-star doorstop. I always check the percentages of 5-star and 1-star reviews to get an idea of the ratio of customers having problems versus perfectly happy customers. You might have a different method.

Answer:	YES. I have a piece connected to a fitting which is part of my homemade dust collection system. I just double-checked and measured the OD of that connection and it is exactly 2 9/16". I also sometimes connect it to 2" PVC, which a slightly smaller OD but, since I use Airplane (band) clamps to tighten it on, that works fine too.
Question:	can this fit over a 2 1/2 blast gate or any other 2 1/2 dust collection fittings such as a 4x2 1/2 "Y" fitting, or are other parts required or needed
Answer:	Yes, it should fit. I've used this hose with both a 2.5" blast gate as well as some 2.5" PVC pipe (both at different ends of the hose) I purchased at Home Depot. The hose fit around both nicely. You will need some 2.5-Inch Key Hose Clamp's to secure the hose to the pipe/fitting though.

Answer:	It does not perfectly fit the small dust deputy. I had to Jerry rig mine using a dissected connector that came with my shop vac to connect it to the dust deputy.

Answer:	It will fit any vac with a 2 1/4" hose port but I strongly suggest that you not buy this kit. The "expanding hose" is terrible and you would hate it! The tool connectors are great however and can be purchased from the Rockler web site separately for about $20.00. Unfortunately, the tool connectors are made to fit a 1 1/2" hose which is less common than the 1 1/4" hose that comes with many shop vacs. The best combination in my opinion is to buy the connectors without the expanding hose and purchase a cheap 1 1/2" hose for it with a 2 1/4" fitting for your vac.

Answer:	My dust collector is only 1.5 hp, and I hesitate to say yes since I haven't tried it myself. I would suggest sending your question to the manufacturer; I'm sure their answer will be accurate and prompt. I will say that this switch has been working flawlessly with the load I put on it.

Answer:	As long as you have the pro tool plus. I have a 10hp slider in the back room away from my 10hp collector so I bought a little 1.5 hp collector and together the two works great.
