Answer:	Ok, so this was bugging me also on what the difference between the models is, So I called Bissell and they informed me that there is no difference the last # added to the model is added for different stores carrying the product. However the features on each of these models is identical. Hope that helps ;)

Answer:	I have three of them, older model bottom tank not translucent. I estimate about threes years with not very much use but when I use it, I use it hard. Great when it was new. Now very loud and don't have much suction, almost useless. Very well constructed though, solid motor and impeller but impossible to change the motor brushes without ripping it out from the holder - maybe need special tool, didn't have to be that way. Filters are the weak link, need to be cleaned constantly even before the tank is filled to one inch. I think the dusts got into the motor/impeller and eat up the bearings.

Question:	Will these filters fit over a Rigid VF5000 filter
Answer:	It probably will. They have an elastic top and fit over the filter on my 2 1/2 gallon shop vacuum.
Question:	Need to know if this will fit my vacuum? The filter cage is 3.5" diameter x about 5.5" deep
Answer:	It'll fit, though it will be a bit tall -- the total height is close to 8". For my 18 volt Ryobi vac I rolled the open end up, like I'd roll up the legs on my jeans as a kid, & it works fine without taking up too much of the space in the tank.
Question:	What material is used to make these bags? How many washings can they take
Answer:	It's made from some kind of heavy fleece. I haven't washed mine yet. So far, I've only taken it out and shaken out the dust. I run a bag in my shop vac, which catches most of the dust. This filter is extra insurance in case the bag gets a hole in it (it sometimes happens if I vacuum wet stuff). When that happens, the filter works great. If it fit better, I would say it's perfect. As is, it's a little too big for my 16G shopvac.
Question:	Does this fit in ridge dry/wet vacuums 12 gals
Answer:	yes, but it would be big. I have one on my 16G shopvac, which the filter is a pretty much too big, but it works - better than being too small.

Question:	What is the voltage requirement on the pump itself, not the vacuum? Can I run it from a 12 Volt battery
Answer:	110/120v required. maybe you could run it with a 12 volt battery if you use a power inverter, otherwise a standard wall plug.
Question:	So i read in a review that you cant remove this pump once its installed on the vacuum, is this true
Answer:	For me, the installation of the pump became permanent and I now have to trash my wet/vac. I installed the adapter and screwed it in per instructions. After attaching everything and attempting to pump out my broken washing machine, I had a big leak. Even after removing the pump and using my original screw cap, there was still water leaking. I became horrified to see that the stupid screw that was awkwardly angled, also seemed to be made of butter. The use of all screwdrivers and extraction tools just further files away the cheap screw. Can't get the adapter off, and my previously working rigid wet/vac is a sieve.
Question:	Is there any kind of debris filter? In a wet vac operation, there is typically all sorts of garbage that get's sucked thru a 2 1/2" hose
Answer:	Filters that get wet will not let air pass. Also, for the ball plunger to work when the vac get full of water, no filter can be attached.Hope this helps.
Question:	can I connect this to my electric hot water heater instead of the shop vac? I am trying to flush my hot water tank
Answer:	First of all I don't know how you could adapt the connection of the pump to, either the 3/4 in. pipe fitting or hose connection, of the hot water heater as the pump is sized for the Vacuum discharge which is like 2 1/2 in. or so. It's even hard to fit the pump to another brand of shop vac. You really need to come up with another thought. This just ain't gonna work.
