Answer:	The mounting brackets attach to the bottom of the saw. The rods slide in the mounting brackets. Then, the rods attach to the bottom of the support - which makes the top edge of the support flush with the table top. It is somewhat adustable in height to make sure it is flush.

Answer:	There are no screws, there are levers on both sides that lift and push down to that 1/3 sheet of sand paper can be fitted. Or you can get the sandpaper with velcro that just stick to the pad.

Answer:	Do you mean the sandpaper itself? I buy packages of sandpaper (Lowes, Home Depot, Auto stores) and cut the sheets to the width required. This Wen uses 1/3 of a sheet. There was an odd attachment composed of a precut sheet with plastic attached that I assume is a template for sizing your cuts. I ignored it.

Answer:	My husband uses regular sheets of sand paper cut in thirds to fit sander. Then they just clip on the bottom of sander.

Answer:	You can use regular sheets of sandpaper. Cut them into three pieces and they will work. The mechanism holding the paper in place is pretty flimsy and paper often slips out. But it does work.

Answer:	Can't see why not. Look online for Garmin-compatible charts, whether from Garmin or not. (My hiking map, with contours and more trails than the USGS maps, was a free download! Look around.) The eTrex models are waterproof, which is a plus. Think seriously about the display size, though. The whole unit fits in the palm of your hand, and its display is only a couple inches high. (See the specs. I might be off a little.) We hikers and hunters can stop and consult the unit, then start walking again. Your boat might travel quite a distance while you peer at that tiny screen, even with the engine stopped. Just a thought.Garmin obviously had boaters in mind when they programmed this, regardless of its size. It even has a "Man Overboard" function that instantly records its current location, then displays the distance and direction back to there while you turn the boat around. It shows tides, too, at whatever tide stations are close to you. Bottom line: it will do everything you need (I think) and do it all day and on into the next morning on a pair of AA cells, but your eyes will ask you why you didn't buy something with a bigger screen.

Use it for scrolling and selecting menu items and for moving the map beyond your location.You'll want to spend some time reading the manual; this thing has a LOT of functionality. Question:	Could this be used as a stage riser? With a drummer and drum set on it
Answer:	The specs on Amazon states that it can handle up to 6,000 pounds of machinery and tools. You be the judge, what is the weight of the drum set and whomever will play them? Will there be others on that stage? In my opinion, if what you put on it is stationary and one person sits on the drum set, nit and that's it, it could work okay. If you are going to have more than one person on it bouncing around like some musicians do, I'd be concerned....there is a big difference between stationary objects on it and bouncing around. My big centipede expands slightly beyond 4'x8' and two edges along the perimeter can be unsupported. If you do use this as a riser, I recommend that you ensure that the entire perimeter of whatever you place on the centipede is supported and the centipede does not expand beyond 4'x8'.
Question:	Can the 4x8 be expanded to just 4x4 or other sizes smaller than 4x
Answer:	No it can't. The 4x8 must be fully expanded as designed. Only when fully expanded can the Centipede support very heavy workloads.

Answer:	It will fit the 60v circular saws: DCS577 and DCS578.

Answer:	5/8" X 1/8" and just because I measured it; working length 10 1/4", overall length 12"

Answer:	It should fit. It fits a dwe575. I assume the sb stands for safety brake. My saw does not have the safety brake, but I think the base plates of all 575 saws are the same.Gary J
Question:	The stand I have comes with a double wing bracket that is screwed on the front face of the beam. What is that for
Answer:	I have both in use now....don't really see any big difference. I am a big fan of Dewalt tools and products and tend to stay with them. I have a Freud 10 inch blade in my mitre saw and a Dewalt blade in my table saw. I use both tools constantly and cutting performance from both is good. I think the Freud is a little more money.
