Not sure about the bending of the blade. I have another silver Freud blade which is for wood only. I have bent the blade, but it seemed to bend back fine!

Hold your tool FIRMLY with both hands, because it can run away from you if you allow it to 'dig in' and it can just as easily run into you. As you explore the various angles of attack, do so carefully, like with a feather, because it can dig in and run away from you. I bought this blade to take a tree stump that I'd previously cut close to the ground, down enough that a lawnmower could pass over without hitting the stump. And I was impressed with how well it did that, once I figured out the best way to apply the blade--via my 4" Ridgid Angle Grinder--to the work, which, in my case, was to tilt my grinder at about a 45° angle, in such a way that the top side of the blade SLIGHTLY contacted the stump, and skim across the wood, drawing the grinder toward me, in arcs or straight lines. Once I discovered how to not let the blade 'dig in' and 'take off' on you, the job went very well and that stubborn, gnarly old stump proved to be no match for this blade. Answer:	I believe you want a negative hook angle for cuts in hard materials like aluminum. If you draw an imaginary radius line from the center of the blade through the front of a tooth, the top of the face of the tooth is behind that line while the bottom of the tooth face s even with that line. This is supposed to help prevent climb cuts and give a smoother, more accurate finish. These are not the right blades for 1/2” aluminum.

Question:	Will this work with bunch of palm roots mixed with soil? Will the blade damage if it touches soils
Answer:	an angle grinder is a different tool from a circular saw. This disc is not suitable for a circular saw, but works very nicely on an angle grinder. A circular saw is designed to use disc shaped saw blades to cut linear kerfs in wood. The angle grinder is more versatile in that you may use it to shave any desired shape into wood or metal. The TOVIA is made to carve only wood. It works great. I don't believe you can use it safely on a circular saw.

Trimming branches with this blade would work, but remember, it's only a 5 inch blade so you have only about 2 inches of cutting available. What ever you do, always wear ear, and eye protection. If you have the chains from the Toolmers wood Carving Disc, 22 teeth, then, for the second option you need a round file with a diameter of 3 mm and inform yourself on right sites about the process of sharpening the chain teeth. The process of sharpening the disc chain is analogous to the process of sharpening the chain of a traditional chain saw.

Answer:	I used it on a Harbor Freight 4 1/2 grinder. I don't think the problem is the arbor size as the HF unit handles 2 sizes. The problem is that the Bad Blade is thinner than the HF unit would like it to be so the Blade slides around and is generally sloppy. I simply added a large rubber washer to solve the problem.

Answer:	Probably, but there would be shards of material everywhere, and the cut itself would not be very smooth. The aluminium would almost certainly tear and rip.
