Answer:	No, mine did not. I would not be surprised if there is an option to purchase it with a battery. For me no battery was a better option, saved money. I have several Milwaukee tools. Some came in sets with batteries that were very competitively priced. I can only use 1 or 2 at a time, so not having to buy batteries is a good deal. I can use a battery on any of the tools that I want - as long as they are all in the same series (M18's).

Answer:	No! Even better it has a bright LED positioned over the top of the blade. So as you offer the blade down to the work the shadow shows exactly where the saw is going to remove material. This system is dead nuts! Those stupid lasers are always off.

Answer:	Yes, absolutely. It is shorter than a conventional sawzall. I find many great uses even cutting tree limbs with longer blades. It can be used with one hand. The batteries are light. I would recommend upgrading to the larger Dewalt battery if you are going to be cutting a lot continuously. I have a few other Dewalt12 39 v tools like the drill/impact and multi-tool. Great tools. Question:	Does this miter saw come with a laser to lineup your cut
Answer:	Hi, my saw has part of the manufacture sticker torn off so U can’t tell the origin. It does say Dewalt based in Towson Maryland. I do know some of the Dewalt is made overseas and assembled in the US as my Dewalt 18v Multi-Tool states. The Recip saw is an excellent tool as I primarily use for pruning trees. You could use one-handed as it is shorter than the normal saw. If I uncover any additional details I will let you know. Stay safe and healthy!

Question:	Is the current model that is shipping type 1 or type 20. If you look up the parts diagram the type 20 has a different slide mechanism part number
Answer:	I bought a new one today from a lumberyard and it is a Type 1. (says right on the sticker on the motor) Not sure if that means the slide mechanism is better or worse than the Type 20. I would assume it was made in 2014 because there is a "Dewalt use only" tag on the box which starts with 2014. Not sure if a "fresher" saw is a Type 20

Answer:	mmToolparts actually sells a kit (3 proprietary DeWalt parts + their wiring harness) for less than $70. They have videos on their website that show how to install the parts on DW716, DWS779, and DWS782 saws. You will need some additional tools (torx screw drivers or torx bits, wire strippers/cutter/crimper) and somewhat mechanically inclined. Just google "DWS779 xps light kit" and they should be the top result. This might be an easier option versus going to a DeWalt service center in the post pandemic world.

Answer:	It does not come with any laser for guidance. You may find my answer a bit crude, I've been using miter saws for many years and the best guiding system I found to work is my/your eyes. Having lasers or no lasers you still need to use your eyes to get the work piece spot on near the cutoff point. Hope this helps!

Answer:	You can add the LED light to this saw. Not a laser but a shadow light that show exactly where the saw blade will cut. I just did it last night. Parts can be had for about $70. This basically turns it into a model 780 which is much more expensive. Pretty simple to add.

Answer:	It may?? I am using my stand with a Hitachi 10" miter saw but it is not sliding.. It has good balance and I have not had any issues with it yet.I did have to mount a piece of plywood on the stand and the saw to the plywood but other than that it works well. Centering the saw on the stand will probably be the key with a sliding set up.

Answer:	They have no problem holding up lumber. If you are looking to hold up a 2 X 10 at 16' from center, you will need something else out there - no matter. If there is a stand that will not fall over, at that kind of leverage, without bolting it to the ground, I want one.

Answer:	Yes. However, the saw still spews dust. I've used it with the dust port connected to a dust collector system as well as to a powerful shop vac. I've also used it with the included blade as well as with a fine-tooth plywood blade. I bought the saw to manage dust while breaking down sheets in the shop. I may have to invest in the DeWalt or Makita track saw.

Answer:	I just tried a Schwarzkopf Keratin. I have been using the other until now. I prefer the Keratin, it doesn't seem to leave my hair dry. It has a good strong color, and seems to be healthier for my hair. I would say the Keratin is better, at least for my hair. I am prone to dry, brittle hair, and live in a dry climate.

Answer:	Haven't tried to cut anything that thick, but you should be ok as long as you cut it slow. If you apply to much pressure you will pop the breaker.

Answer:	Look at the max rpm for the blade. If it is higher than the maximum saw output (3,900prm I believe) then yes you can use that particular carbide blade. Always check each blade for compatibility with the saw before you buy or use.
