Answer:	A belt sander is great for any sanding job you need that requires a lot of material to be removed quickly, such as stripping paint or finishes on flat surfaces, smoothing out wood filter patches, sanding hard wood floors or removing hardened glue. If you need to finish wood surfaces or prepare surfaces, it is best to use a disc sander.

Answer:	I'm confused by all these answers. The description states; "The sander accepts 5-inch, 8-hole hook and loop paper". I see no mention of 5-hole paper in the description.

Answer:	This one is not random orbit, like the D26451. It also has a more powerful motor, but I find the D26456 to be the best sander. Definitely buy one with a variable speed, like D26453K over the D26451. I returned this model quickly and rely on D26456 for woodworking and home improvement where I need a nice finish. This model definitely didn't come close to meeting my needs.

Answer:	don't think so it has a rubber mat backing don't think the glue will stick very well, I used whole sheet 8 1/2 X 11 and cut it in half and trim the edges give you more choices on the paper

Answer:	I buy full sheets of sandpaper then cut them up myself. Get 4 per sheet. I use Festool Granat 9 x 11 paper.

Answer:	The answer is that no you do not have to have holes in the paper to use it, but if you do not have the holes you will not be able to utilize the vacuum capability of removing the dust created by the sander. Answer:	Would be best to use a guide. Freehand cuts are difficult to get perfectly straight with any tool without a fence/guide of some sort. When straight cuts are desired, I hold a board at the cut line to guide the blade. Keep the board on the side you are keeping so if blade slips or wanders off line, it is on the waste side. Assuming you are cutting ceramic tile with the carbide grit blade. Use a little water to cool blade. At the very least stop from time to time to cool blade in water. A grinder with a diamond blade works much better. Multi tool will be slow. Dewalt makes a cordless grinder too.

Answer:	To clarify-in the picture the piece on the left with the yellow label slides onto the sander. Then the black plastic piece immediately on the left of the bag slip-twists onto the piece on the sander. That being said, the plastic throat of the bag is 2 1/2" OD and 2 3/8" ID. Hope helps.
