Answer:	I found an extension on Amazon but didn't buy it, instead I made one out of a simple piece of 3/4" pipe by just drilling 2 holes at the top of the pipe and 2 holes at the bottom of the pile so I could connect one end to the engine and the other end to the bit. It was very simple and easy to do.

If you put it on the inside of the house, then it can NOT be removed because it clicks into place and to remove it you have to take your thumb and fore-finger and squeeze the latch release in order to release the latch lock and to raise the door. Ideally for super weather protection I am going to buy another door for the outside so for SEVERE WEATHER AND SUPER HIGH TORNADO WINDS - I can have a door on both sides - the outside and the inside - even if the outside can be removed. (I live in Tornado Alley) P.S. Even in 30 mph winds so far - neither of the door flaps have come open and or leaked. I LOVE THIS DOGGIE DOOR AND I HAVE THE SUPER HUGE ONE FOR MY 180 LB ENGLISH MASTIFF - SO YOU CAN IMAGINE HOW BIG THE DOOR OPENING IS!! But the person on the other side has to realized before trying to stick his head thru that door - if the door is that big - "Do I really want to stick my head thru there?!!"

Question:	How well will this work if hole needs to be a minimum of 3ft in diamater
Answer:	I don't think this is what you need. this makes a 6 inch diameter hole you would have to dig 6 holes together to get your 3 foot diameter and that's not easy to do.

Answer:	2020-all sources I checked still do not have this battery available. In fact the 2Ah is also very scarce-if you can even find one
