Answer:	Both sides have the same pseudo-nut with a cotter pin through it. I didn't disassemble my hand truck to look at it more carefully. I suggest you take off the remaining nut and cotter pin and take it to a hardware store to get a replacement. They should have something that fits, and you'll have this working again quickly. I'm not sure I understand how you managed to knock the cotter pin out and lose the nut under normal use, though. Last suggestion: contact the manufacturer who might be willing to provide a replacement. I would start with your local store first, taking in the remaining pin and possibly the axle.

Answer:	The pin needs to be opened a little bit first by inserting a screw diver in between and prying the pin apart. Then use pointed pliers and pinch the pin together and insert it into the hole of the steel rod (axel). Once in, split the pin open and bend it backwards to prevent the wheel from coming off.

Answer:	Sorry, I returned it after receiving two different units, both with crooked shafts.

Answer:	I bought the 112Y-12-CM 112Y model and it easily stores 150 feet of 14/3 Extension cord. It was on sale at the time.

Answer:	The answer is IT DOES TWIST THE MALE END. I use 10 Gauge cords so I cannot push the tail end inside, its just too thick. My solution applies to all that would use this reel. (112Y-8-CM caddy mount) and other. Search amazon for Cable Clamp. Roll up the male end and use the cable clamp to keep it neat. You can use the same cable clamp to secure the loose end to the rail on caddy models. When reeling or out, allow the cable to twist freely while the cable clamp holds the cable end neat. It will flop around on the ground like a beached trout. I also use an extension cable protector to avoid damage and dirt to the male end while spooling.
