ADJUSTABLE FROM 7 PSI TO 215 PSI, 140 SCFM FLOW RATE A pressure regulator's primary function is to match the flow of gas through the regulator to the demand for gas placed upon it, whilst maintaining a constant output pressure. If the load flow decreases, then the regulator flow must decrease also. If the load flow increases, then the regulator flow must increase in order to keep the controlled pressure from decreasing due to a shortage of gas in the pressure system. High pressure gas from the supply enters into the regulator through the inlet valve. The gas then enters the body of the regulator, which is controlled by the needle valve. The pressure rises, which pushes the diaphragm, closing the inlet valve to which it is attached, and preventing any more gas from entering the regulator. The outlet side is fitted with a pressure gauge. As gas is drawn from the outlet side, the pressure inside the regulator body falls. The diaphragm is pushed back by the spring and the valve opens, letting more gas in from the supply until equilibrium is reached between the outlet pressure and the spring. If you had a 20 psi inlet pressure you would have a 20 psi outlet regardless of regulator setting. If you had 50 psi inlet pressure you could reduce it to 25 psi(min. setting for regulator). Regulators can only reduce pressure not increase it. |

Please note that this is a low-pressure flowmeter for shielding gas in TIG and MIG processes. Answer: | The screen on the inside could be clogged, try cleaning it to see if that's it, I'm not sure if they have a rebuild kit. |

Answer: | The case material is an unknown metal alloy. It has a seam so it must not be a cast. |
Question: | Is the gauge oil filled |
Answer: | Yes, the gauge is oil filled. Better quality than another i had prior to this one (Different manufacturer). My first Pangolin had a crack in the body from screwing in the gauge. May have been tightened too much. Had no issues with returning and received a new one promptly. So far so good. |
Question: | Can this be applied for washer in the house? I have tried arrestors, bigger hoses, etc. nothing works. My two previous washers didn’t have the problem |
Answer: | Yes it will fit a washer hose but I don't understand the problem. If your previous washers did not have too much pressure then you should contact the manufacturer. Do you have high pressure in the rest of the house? You might need a whole house regulator. |

Answer: | Off the top of my head don't know the cfm rating. It is mounted sideways on my compressor and it working fine. |

Answer: | Not sure. That's pretty high pressure. If you investigate, the web you should be able to find one that goes that high. |
