Answer:	I hanged an 24inx36in sign board (10 pounds)with four. One would hold it. I used four because I was afraid that tarp is going to tear. They have a phenomenal grip and it depends more on material that tart clip is gripping. I paid about $13 for four with shipping, but they were great quality and performed good.

Answer:	NO! They are a great idea, but poorly implemented. The hooks break too easily. I use them to secure heavy duty tarps that protect my wood stacks from rain and snow. I only cover the wood when it rains or snows, so I use these cords several times a month on average. About 8 of the hooks have broken in less than a year. That said, they work so well for my requirements, and are cheap enough, I'll continue to use them until I find something better.

Answer:	Yes, but the plastic hooks break so easily they should come with a "Fragile" label. I use mine to secure a tarp over stacked wood and about 20% of the hooks have broken. This would be a great product without this flaw.

Answer:	Hi Suzanne--Actually, you feed the other end of the cord thru the grommet. The ball holds that end of the strap to the tarp. Detach the cord from the clamp mechanism on the other end, feed the cord through the grommet until the ball stops it, then reattach the cord to the clamp mechanism.

Answer:	The maximum stretch value is around 48 inches. To get a better TAUT tension at, say, 32 inches, undo the bungee adjustment and take it down to about 22 - 24 inches total length, then lock it in place, and bingo, stretch it out to the desired length. If it is too slack, take it down to 20 inches and try again. This really isn't rocket guys. These are so easy to use.

Answer:	The MAX expansion is 48 inches UNSTRETCHED length. You can shorten it. It will stretch past the 48 inches, as that is NON-taunt. I know you can get MORE length by stretching, but I don't think that another 18 inches is achievable. Obviously, you can adjust it shorter, then add a second bungee, which would give you the length you need and ALSO thicker in general for better tensile strength.

Answer:	I’m not quite sure offhand if it includes the hook length, however the length listed is it’s relaxed length, not stretched out.

If one is using it to stretch the entire unit around an object, (much like a rubber band is placed around a rolled newspaper), the "ball to ball" length, ( measured in it's passive state and then it it's fully stretched length ),would be in accordance with the 12" rating.( Note: The "ball lock / anchor" feature is really of no use in this application.) - - -- Otherwise, given the intended "ball lock / anchor - fastener" key feature of the design, the same rules would apply to the 6" minimum rating instead. Based on this key feature of the design, ( which is the ball anchor / fastener ), it seems to me that the advertised 6" specification is correct accordingly. Note: Using the 6" specification, my bungee has a "minimum" stretch of 6". The approximate "maximum" was 14". Using the 12" specification, using it as a "newspaper rubber band", it will contain a minimum circumference of 12" and a maximum circumference of 28" accordingly.

Answer:	It DEPENDS on which wrench you're talking about. There are two sizes here, yet the same questions, answers, and reviews show up for BOTH wrenches. I bought the 16" wrench, thinking it would be good for all of our family vehicles, since it's advertised to fit filters "up to 5½ inches." Very misleading. This has a channel-lock mechanism with three stops. At the SMALLEST stop, I measure a gap of 3 3/8" between opposing teeth with it closed as far as it will go. At that size, it's not going to get much of a grip on a stubborn 3½' filter, if there is such a size. Forget about using it on a 3" filter. This is going to fit my truck's filter, but NONE of our cars, whose filters are only 3 inches in diameter. Check your filter size. If it's less than 3½ inches, go for the smaller wrench.

Answer:	This also doesn't answer your question per se, but most professional mechanics just don't use Taiwanese or Chinese made tools in their daily work. It would be too expensive and inconvenient to replace them all the time, not to mention the high risk of under and over torquing bolts. These tools are made for the occasional DIYer or one-off projects. Most of the reviews you see here are from guys who just opened the box and are impressed with how it looks and feels. Tekton does well with looks and feels.

Answer:	I asked Tekton about the use of impact tools in a non-impact application. The answer was NO. Use the 1/2" drive regular Tekton sockets.

Answer:	I don't know why their customer service told Buck that info. In his review, he described the correct way to reverse it so that it does work for reverse-threaded applications.Reversing the head is the proper way to adjust the wrench to torque left-handed threads. The torque mechanism only works in one direction - clockwise is the default direction. Some wrenches have a push-through drive to get bi-directional torquing, but this one has a reversible head (some wrenches can't be reversed at all). It's not a big deal to reverse it. Doing so essentially "turns the wrench around" so that it will torque in a counter-clockwise direction. A "reversible ratchet head" feature is not the same as a "reversible ratchet" feature, and their product features clearly state it has a reversible head. Simply reversing the ratchet mechanism with the toggle only allows you to ratchet in both directions - it does not provide for torquing in the reverse direction.

Answer:	They are laser cut or etched, but it doesn't matter. On the one I received, the "0" setting on the knurled knob did not match up with the numbers on the handle, so I could not tell if I was 25 lbs above or below the number on the handle.
