Answer:	Not very well if at all. I have both this saw and a Craftsman BAS350 14" 1hp saw. I honestly wish I'd bought the Craftsman 21400 10" 1/3hp which is the Craftsman version of this saw at a lower price. For what you want to do you are better off spending around $400 at Sears and getting the BAS350 14" bandsaw or buying a Grizzly G0555 for $634 shipped at Amazon. They are a LOT more saw for the money! The BAS350 is a great machine for $400.

Answer:	Get an after market blade, and you should have no problem with 4" oak. The blade that came with the saw was not the greatest. I picked up a new 1/4 inch & 1/2 inch for like $15 bucks... cutting is night and day compared to the stack blade.

Answer:	Simple answer is no. This has a range of motion of 90 degrees. 45 left and 45 right (Makes a range of motion to 90 degrees.). The one I received was not designed properly and with no deburring or fine grinding of the ways, etc. it wouldn't even do 40 on each side. Part of the issue is the tightening bolts and slide are not made to allow the table to go that far and end up making contact with the slot end prior to reaching the 45. I ended up tearing it apart, honing down the contact areas and milling the slide pieces to allow it to make it to 45. It actually goes to 46 now. Long answer for your question. If you don't have the ability to "modify" this one, I would recommend spending the extra $$ for one that has a better finish.

Answer:	I just got off the phone with Milwaukee customer service and they do not offer a warranty if it is through a 3rd party seller like Amazon or E-bay. HOWEVER, there is a work around. You can give the serial number of the tool and if it's within 5 years of the manufactured date they will honor the warranty if you DO NOT mention that you bought it through Amazon or E-bay.
Question:	Whats the difference between the milwaukee 2554-22 m12 fuel 12-volt lithium-ion , and the 2555-22 m
Answer:	It will still have good power, but I can tell you from experience...I have run mine with a 4.0 and a 9.0, and the torque is noticeably higher with the 9.0. So yes, I'm gonna say that it will have a bit less power with a small battery. But as I said, it will still have a lot of power with the 2.0

Answer:	The manual states that the maximum torque values for each speed are 100/300/700. So if you set it to Speed 1 then the maximum torque it will deliver is 100 ft-lbs.

You might want to look for the one that comes with batteries and a charger if he doesn't have that already. Be mindful that this model comes with two variations: hog ring and detent anvil. Detent anvil holds the socket tighter but uses a tool (which is probably included)to change the sockets while hog ring holds the socket on with a split washer but doesn't require a tool. Great tool though with either option.
