Answer:	The various tools, including the knife blade pivot in and out of a handle, like any folding knife. In the fully closed transport mode, the handles are closed over the plier head. To use the pliers, you pivot the handles open. With the handles opens you can also select one of the other tools, using a fingernail to select a tool and pivot it out of the handle. You then use that tool or knive blade with one or both handles closed over the pliers. When done, the knife blade easily folds back into the handle, and the handles easily fold over the piler jaws. One important note: the knife blade and other tools do not lock open, so improper use could cause them to fold close unexpectedly.

Answer:	I believe they are both made in China and the only difference I can see is the 22-41471 is black. They both have all the same tools and attachments. I use mine (22-01471) on a daily basis and it is a great tool!

Answer:	I measure it at 10.5cm x 4.3 cm x 1.7 cm (+.3cm with clip) This is everything closed up.

Answer:	Yes it can be removed or switched to the opposite side. A side note: I collect knives and multi-tools; this Suspension EXT is in the top three that I have out of 400 (ish) I have.

Answer:	It will do the job, but a multi-tool with exchangable cutting blades would be a better choice.
