Answer:	I don't own this tool or the more expensive versions. However, I don't believe this is fake. I think what's actually going on is this is the real deal sold by the manufacturer, and the $35 ones you see are the exact same thing as this but with more recognizable brand names put on, for people who think a brand name plus higher price equals better product.

Answer:	No, they do not lock open, but are very sturdy. Spring-loaded, much like a Leatherman (which we have various sizes of this to). Great for around the house or to keep in the vehicle for quick repair or small project. Nice tool to have.

Answer:	Not exactly. What you’ll normally experience is the oil that Leatherman uses, it typically comes off on your hands as black. The black coating will experience wear, from use and just opening it over time. I really like how it starts to look after awhile!

Answer:	No it does not. I dont know why you would want one either. It comes with a nylon holster and I work in construction A few guys on our crews carried them. To be honest half carried this multitool in the holster and half in their front or back pocket. I had 2 and I was for work and one was in my backpack for Search and Rescue.

Materials and Specs

EverRatchet is cut from a solid sheet of Stainless Steel or Titanium using EDM (Electrical Discharge Manufacturing). This manufacturing method uses a computer controlled machine to pull an electrified wire through the sheet of metal resulting in very precise components.

After cutting, the parts are twice tumbled and a glass/polymer finish is applied to keep it nice and new every time you reach for it.
