Answer: | My daughter is 5'3 and they fit perfectly. They arent too tall. She was given the "Hunter" boots for Xmas, for over $200 and they are too tall and hurt the back of her knee. Plus you need to wear a special sock. She likes these better, and actually loves them, and she doesnt hate the rain anymore. |

- DOUBLE LOCK: One blade, twice the safety. During standard use, the Liner-Lock automatically engages and locks the blade open. But when you need to make more rugged cuts, push the Double Lock switch forward to block the Liner-Lock from possibly disengaging and allowing the blade to close on your hand. Adjust the safety detent-action (which controls how easily the knife closes) with the tension screw on the side of the knife.
- G10: G10 is a specialized composite made from layers of fibrous material and resin compressed under extreme pressure. COAST G10 handles include an interior steel support for durability.
- THREE POSITION KNIFE CLIP: Carry your knife how it suits you best. Use COAST’s Three Position Knife Clip to adjust the pocket clip to how wear the knife, with easy access to your dominant hand.
- THUMB STUDS: Open the knife with a quick flick. Small studs mounted on each side of the knife blade allow for easy, one-handed opening.

User questions & answers
Question: | How does this knife compare to the Ontario Rat |
Answer: | I would go with the 8. Based on other reviews I sized down and ordered the 7 first time around. However, my toes were touching the end and I had to return them for the 8. If your foot is wide the size 7 will be difficult to put on due to the smaller "neck" size of the shoe (around the ankle). Hope this helps |
Question: | what is the blade thickness on this? does it have teflon or metal blade pivot washers ? are the steel liners cut out or solid steel |
Answer: | I don’t recall ordering these boots. They look like they come just below the knee. |
