Answer:	My first go round was great. Pruned my big apricot tree non-stop. Now mine is doing what yours is. It is supposed to have a safety feature that stops it from cutting if you get your finger too close to the blade. I think that is going on & is too sensitive. The first day I couldn’t get that to work, now you can get a cut or 2 done and have to wait for it to clear.

Answer:	From the power off position try first turning power on, then rapidly double pull the trigger. The clipper should cycle. Also, the best way to power down is to pull and hold the trigger to close cutter, then power of so they end up in the closed position. To use again, switch power on and again double pull the trigger. The cutters should then move to the open position and cycle with each pull of trigger. If the power is left on, after a period of time, the cutter will go into a low power sleep. Then you need to move power switch to off then on & double pull the trigger. Hope that helps.

Answer:	It took me awhile but I found the port they are referring to. Turn the tool so that the Koban label on the opposite side facing away from you (so that you are looking at the non-label side. Now look right in the middle of that large black washer with the gear on top. That is the port and it does have a little bit of cotton in it. So if you are to follow their instructions, you will need a pair of fine tip tweezers to remove the cotton inset the oil bottle, oil it, then replace the cotton. Hope this helps

Question:	I can't get the blade in. The instructions talk about rotating a pin using a screwdriver. I can see the pin but can't get it to budge. Any advice
Answer:	My husband had no trouble with the blade twice. But when he took blade off to put it away the third time, he couldn't get it back on. For some reason, the pin inside that the hole in the blade fits onto had turned. You need to press in the black button to raise the pin. Then, while it is raised, use a flat head screwdriver to rotate that pin back to where it should be. When you look in the hole on the side of the drill, the pin should face the same direction. Once the pin is rotated into the right direction, the blade should go on. I watched a Youtube video and could tell our pin had rotated based on that.
Question:	Appropriate for cutting lumber like a 2x4 or sheet of paneling
Answer:	Yes, this saw will do 2x4s or 2x6s, for example, but I'd keep in mind that the saw probably is not for 3x3 or larger wooden posts. I'm just guessing on the largest size, however, from the size of the blade and overall size of the unit. This saw easily cuts paneling, however. Two blades come with the saw: a coarse blade for wood, and a fine-tooth blade for metal and plastic or PVC piping. So far the saw has done a great job for various tasks, and it's very compact and comfortable to use. I've used it mainly for planks about an inch thick, and fallen tree branches that need to be trimmed.
Question:	can i cut bone
Answer:	it probably would cut bone but it has to be stable it probably would fly all over.
Question:	Is this a good saw to use for cutting tree branches (between 3" and 5" thick) into firewood? Has anyone tried to do this with this saw
Answer:	It ought to. I just used mine to cut two 2" x 6" pine nailed together. That would be 3" x 5 1/2".
