Question:	would it cut a 1/4 inch stainless steel bar
Answer:	I bet it would cut 1/4 inch steel, I was using it on 1/2 inch and 5/8ths inch rebar. However, I would suggest you just buy a grinder and a metal cutting wheel. The grinder is much easier and faster to use than this thing. I have not used mine since I switched to the grinder. Do you want mine?
Question:	can it cut container seal
Answer:	Yes it can but it'll be awkward. You can cut seals with a $16 cheapo 14 inch one.
Question:	I plan on using this to cut 7/16 guy wire as daily usage. No rebar. Please comment
Answer:	We cannot guarantee how well this item will cut 1/16 wire as it is made to Cut Rebar and Steel Rod from 1/4" up to 3/4", #3, #4, #5, and #6
