Question:	Do these cut acsr
Answer:	I have not personally cut acsr with them. Though they are strong, and ive cut through and twisted multiple 12/2 electrical wire at once, i wouldnt recommend them for acsr. If you were to try it, i wouldnt try it anything bigger than 6AL/1St. But it would probably still be a bit tough to do.
Question:	Anyone have any issues with rusting/seizing? I do a lot of metal work so I quench in water briefly and I'm sick of pliers seizing on me
Answer:	If you have rusted tools no matter how bad, soak in white vinegar overnight then use water and wire brush and watch the rust fall right off. Then apply a light coating of 3in1 oil and good as new. Periodically reapply the 3in1 to prevent rust as needed.

Answer:	I use my pliers everyday I bought a pair of knipex from Amazon and thought from what everyone said knipex were better but after using them for about six months I’ve been having issues with them so I will be purchasing another pair of Klein’s.

Answer:	I have not attempted to cut a fish hook, but I have used the cutter to cut through some pretty heavy (10gage) copper wire and some steel nails. Since the jaws are made of heat-treated carbon steel, the cutters should be able to handle fishing hooks, although I wouldn't try to cut the really large hooks. Carbon steel means that the cutters will rust in a salt environment (ocean/surf fishing) so you will want to keep them cleaned and well-lubed at all times.

Answer:	Not insulated. Plastic-dipped or slip-on plastic handles are NOT intended for protection against electrical shock.

Answer:	Try a very sharp twist bit smaller than the threaded ID- with the pliers open, drill from the UN-CUT Side. As the bit gets a bite, hopefully it will actually rotate the piece of screw out of the tool.

Answer:	The short answer is probably NO... at least with the more common dies. But a lot depends on the crimp terminals and die set that you choose. There are a number of die sets available but the only kind I have seen are for the hardware store variety crimp-thru-the-insulation terminals. The machine itself is a just a strong set of pneumatic jaws with an industry standard die mounting. If you can find UL compliant double crimp terminals and the corresponding die set, there is a pretty good chance they will be useable in this machine, unless the crimp/die vendor uses a special width or die mounting scheme in order to sell their own expensive tool.

Answer:	Better than any stripper I've bought .They also let you twist a wire before you marrette . Anyhow it's all I use and I wire 2 houses a week .

Answer:	The plastic hand grips appear to be molded onto the pliers but they are 120mm long and appear to be a non conductive material although it is written on them that they are not insulated and will not protect against electric shock. I tested them to 1000v and they passed the insulation test fine so I am happy with their insulating properties for low voltage but working on live conductors is not a recommended safe practice. Answer:	AWG stands for American Wire Gauge, so it is a standardized measurement of wire diameter. The smaller the gauge, the larger the wire (counter-intuitive I know).The max for this crimper is 8 gauge. 0 gauge is about 1/3rd inch in diameter, so you need a larger crimper or another way to attach a 0 gauge furrule to the wire. For 8 gauge and smaller, this is an excellent kit.

Answer:	These are not for splicing wires together. They're designed to permit a professional male terminal end that gets fed into a female clamping connection (like a speaker or amp connection).

Answer:	This type of terminal prevents stranded wires from fraying or weakening. They fit a number of different type of terminal blocks such as press fit blocks and clamp type blocks. When bare stranded wire is shoved into a clamp type block, wire strands can break off or weaken, continuity may be suboptimal. That will not happen with terminal sleeves even under multiple insertions and removal. They are an absolute requirement in industrial applications. These are not for spade terminal blocks or ring terminal bloks.
