Answer:	PEX, regardless of brand, is rated at 180 degrees at 100 psi OR 200 degree at 80 psi for a minimum of 30 minutes. No plastic can withstand UV exposure for prolonged periods. I have a solar heated hot water system that has been maintenance-free for years. My system uses copper tubing for the collectors. Some of the tubing that carries the hot water back to the storage tank is PEX but it is well insulated and protected from sunlight.

Question:	will this brand of pex burst if water is left in the line and freezes
Answer:	NO it will not. The fittings will crack if they freek. I work on mobile homes and we ONLY use Pex or Sharkbite Pex tube. I have seen the entire 100 feet freeze and it just swels up a tiny bit. Any fitting that freezes though will crack and burst or leak. Do all home run lines and put a heat tape on it if your woried it may get exposure to winter freezing temps. I have done over 60 homes with this and always get this question.

Question:	How difficult is this to use to clamp on the fitting? I am age female with OK hand strength, just wondering if this requires big strong hands, thanks
Answer:	My experience was that it did require some "elbow grease" to fully clamp down. The handles are a bit short, so you don't get a lot of leverage. It requires both hands to operate, similar to bolt cutters, so it's not really about hand strength. I found myself wishing for a third hand to hold the clamp steady while I crimped it, because it was difficult to keep the clamp from slipping up and down while I was trying to apply left-right pressure to close it.
