Answer:	I assume it would. I recommend mounting the brackets underneath the shelf, for better support. But the brackets (or at least 1) have to hit a stud. Frank

Answer:	Drill-bit size: 8mm.

Answer:	The actual shelf does not attach to the wall. First you mount the brackets. When you mount the brackets (I mounted the brackets underneath, for better support). Since the shelf is 24.5", you won't be able to hit 2 studs. I mounted, 1 bracket (the right side), but it doesn't matter which side, as long as you mount 1 bracket, to 1 stud. The second bracket, will not hit a stud (16" between studs ). For the second stud, I used the biggest toggle bolts, I could find, that would fit the 2 mounting holes, on the bracket. After you mount the brackets, the shelf screws on to the brackets, with supplied screws. When you hang your pots and pans, start with the heaviest pot or pan on the stud supported side. Then hang your pots or pans, heaviest to lightest. My has over 20 labs. Of pots and pans hanging(She used all of the supplied hooks). She also uses the top of the shelf (with the railing) for 2 stoneware pots and a electric grinders. Remember, there are 2 ways, to mount the shelf. I recommend mounting the brackets underneath. Question:	Do these come with a starter piece thay has all the tiles even on one end?? Or o you just cut it and leave the raw edge
Answer:	The answers do not resolve this question, so I watched an installation video to educate myself and relay the information on. What appears to be a straight edge in the product photos is actually the area where the next tile overlaps. So, you actually have a small portion of two tiles that do overlap, not just butt up against one another. This is why you do not see the wall behind, should there be a slight misalignment of tiles. When you do come to a corner or a vertical piece of trim (perhaps in the case of coming to a refrigerator opening or the end of the overhead cabinet), the tile has to be cut vertically to establish a straight edge. I sincerely hope this clarifies matters for everyone...it does for me.

Surface Requirement

Some kinds of surfaces can compromise the adherence of the peel and stick wall tiles, and others may take away from the beauty of the backsplash.

1, Dusty and Porous Surfaces:Stucco wall, brick wall, stone wall, unfinished wall (gypsum or plaster), unpainted plywood.

2, Uneven Surfaces and Walls with Reliefs (raised or textured), like dented, damaged, aged surface or one with reliefs

3. Where they may be submerged in water or used as a working surface. It is also inadvisable to put them where they will be in direct contact with steam or flames. Such as in the shower, on the countertop, on the floor, on the ceiling.

Tip to remove:

If you want to remove the tile, you could use a hairdryer to warm up the adhesive and pull softly, starting with the corners. Then use a cleaning product to remove the excess glue left by the peel and stick tiles
