Answer:	The Mini-Mite 4 can be used with all other Fuji Spray turbine-driven spray guns, and most other spray guns designed for turbine use. Note however, that turbines use 3/4" hose fittings, and are not compatible with compressor spray guns that use smaller air hoses.

Answer:	Yes, this spray system can be used for bath tub and counter top resurfacing applications. Most resurfacing products are best sprayed using a 1.3mm or 1.5mm air cap set. In the event you plan to spray fleck coatings, you will require a 1.8mm air cap set.
Question:	Hello, tried clear coat and leaked thru needle and nozzle. How do you fix this?(thinned
Answer:	Refer to page 16 of the owner’s manual. If you don’t have one, you can find it online. Your packing nut is too tight, and won’t let the needle seat. You can see the packing nut between the trigger and the nozzle body. You should have the wrench that came with the system. One of the notches is for the packing nut. Back the nut off less than 1/8th of a turn and try that. If you still have a leak, back it off a tiny bit more. Test with water in the cup.Always use a little of the supplied oil (machine oil) on the needle to lubricate the packing nut. Do that every time you clean the gun. Hope this helps. Larry King

Answer:	No air compressor is needed. It is electric powered, not air.

Answer:	The base unit has a blower or low-pressure compressor built in, no external compressor required. Make sure the base is sitting where it will pull in clean air, no dust or debris.
Question:	can this be used for oil base paints
Answer:	Yes. Cleaning oil-based primer took forever to clean because you must use mineral spirits and be sure to get every bit of it off the interior parts. Cleaning latex-based primer and paint out of the sprayer with soapy water was much easier but still time-consuming, especially since I tried to get every bit of primer/paint off the outside of the sprayer and pump in case I want to sell it if we ever finish the kitchen-painting project. I am an almost elderly homemaker, amateur painter, and I was able to use it successfully.
Question:	Has anyone use it as a Spray tan system
Answer:	I have. The turbine has similar specs (i.e. correct pressure and airflow) to some other HVLP spray tanning systems; however, for me the cup size was too large and spray pattern on the included nozzle made it difficult to not overspray. I purchased a wagner "spray tan cartridge attatchment" aka "Wagner Detail Front End Kit" (ASIN B00FDZDO32). It works ok but the cup size is still fairly large and tended to overspray . I have since replaced that gun with a "Maxi-Mist Spray Tanning Gun Replacement Lightweight" ($35 on ebay) and am happy with the results even though I had to adapt the hose to fit. Maxi-mist's MaxiMist™ Evolution TNT Spray Tanning System looks like the wagner painted all black and I wonder if the front end gun ($50) is compatible. I don't use this professionally but can say its works, especially with a purpose made gun. I got best results with the pressure set just above minimum.

Answer:	I was going to buy the Semi-pro 2 but jumped to the Mini-mite 3 because it comes with the T series gun, same as Fuji's high-end sprayers, while the Semi-pro 2 comes with their M series gun. I've never used the Semi-pro 2, but I'm getting fantastic results from the 3 and I think the additional power and the better gun were worth the extra money.

Answer:	Yes you can paint walls with this gun. But it may take a while since the canister is only 600 ml. The gun requires a compressor that can deliver 4.5 CFM at 40 PSI. The operating pressure is 45 - 50 PSI. The maximum inlet pressure is 80 PSI
Question:	Can I hook this up to siphon directly from the paint/stain container or will I have to spray a quart at a time
Answer:	You will not be able to attach this directly to a the paint/stain container. But you can use it with a pressurized paint tank. These can be found at paint supply stores, hardware stores, or online

Answer:	We would also recommend an inline dryer and filter system. This for removing any moisture or debris from the airline that can contaminate the paint. These should be installed as far from compressor tank and as close to the spray gun as possible. The part number for the general purpose filter is PA212103AV. The part number for the dryer is PA208503AV.

Question:	Can this bottom feed gun be converted to gravity feed
Answer:	The T-70 can be converted into a gravity feed spray gun using the #9960 U-Tube Conversion Kit. Since the U-tube is meant for the Fuji Spray M-model spray gun, teflon tape may be required around the couplings to avoid leaks.

Answer:	I purchased a Mini Mite 4 and it is not priced At $ 400.00--- $766.00 on Amazon. Reviews on line indicated the Mini Mite 4 capable of spraying heavier paints with better results. That is the reason I purchased----and am happy with the results.

Answer:	No, not with the gun that is supplied. I don't think you could fan down the spray enough to avoid over spray. I think there is a "detail" type gun that you can get for system that might work for trim that's in place. You'd probably still have to do some taping??? Sorry

Question:	Does anyone know what size 3m pps adapter is used for this gun
Answer:	I can’t remember what that gun is rated at, but it spayed well with my old compressor and it put out about 10 cfm at 30 psi. I wouldn’t recommend less than a 30 gallon tank though because I had to wait for the compressor to build back up due to using a 15 gallon tank. I have a 30 gallon tank now pushing 14.5 at 30 psi and it makes all the difference in the world.
Question:	Is the delivery timely
Answer:	When thinned properly yes. However I preffer a 1.8 tip for primer because it allows me a spray a thicker coat. Using a 1.4 tip will work but you'll need to reduce the primer more and apply more thin coats. Good luck
Question:	Can i paint my car with this with good finish
Answer:	I'm not sure about the 1.3 nozzle and needle set up. I have the same gun with the 1.8 nozzle and needle set up, I can get about a 7 - 8 fan with me, but my set up if for thick materials like lacquers for cabinets finishes.....

Answer:	When using an HVLP turbine-driven spray system to apply automotive finishes, a 5 stage system will provide best results. These systems can spray all automotive applications, including 2K paints, and will ensure optimal atomization and the highest quality of finish are achieved. Historically, the below air cap sets have proven to work best with automotive finishes: • 1.5mm-1.8mm for primer application • 1.3mm for base coat • 0.8mm-1.0mm for clear coat In general, low viscosity materials (such as a clear coat) will require a smaller sized air cap set such as the 1.0mm. As the viscosity of the material increases, you will have to use larger sized air cap sets to effectively atomize the high viscosity products.
Question:	Can this gun be used with a Titan Capspray system
Answer:	You will need an air line and a large air compressor to power the spray gun. The air compressor has to be 8 to 9 scfm at below 40 lbs air pressure. You will also need an air regulator connected to the gun to set the pressure at the gun to29 psi. These regulators are not expensive, less than $20. This spray gun is very nice and big enough to spray a car. It is not a handyman special.

Answer:	The Fuji Semi-pro 2 would be a very good choice. I am 72 years old and appreciate the Fuji's fairly lite weight and compact turbine. The gun and whip hose are easy for me to handle. I chose the gravity gun and appreciate its comfortable center of gravity in my hand. It is easy to manipulate around corners and tight spaces. You didn't mention the type of material you will be spraying thru the gun. The Semi-Pro gives best performance with water-borne and solvent-borne finishes. It isn't really made for heavier finishes including latex and other paints. I have been very pleased with the nice buttery finish the Semi-Pro applies. I hope this helps with your decision. Answer:	There's relatively NO overspray! I've been using an hvlp gun with and air comp. for years, over spray everywhere!! I had to cover the whole work area! But with the Fuji it's great, (I finish and paint cabinets for a living) all I had to cover is about two feet of the wall and floor and spray and in the next room my customer is reading the paper, with no disturbance of over spray. WOW!! I love Fuji!!

Answer:	When spraying automotive finishes, we would recommend use of a 4 or 5-stage system to provide the power necessary to atomize high viscosity primers and allow for optimal atomization.

Question:	Would this work with wagner
Answer:	So I painted my kitchen cabinets last year with it. I never used a HVLP sprayer before. I did not spray over my old cabinets. I build new doors from Maple stock sander them down to 320 grit before I started painting. I thought that the best paint to use would be a oil base paint. So this is what I bought and realizing that I would have to thin it with paint thinner (not more then 10%). First I primed them with an oil base primer then started to use the finish coat. So it didn't go so well at first you have to figure out the volume of paint to allow to flow from the gun. I found with the oil base paint that 1 1/2 turns open from closed or 1 1/4 turns worked best. You spray one direction and then the other direction. I would paint them, let them dry over night and lightly sand them with 320 grit. This gets rid of any imperfections in the finish. Then apply another coat and followed this process for 4 coats. I ended up with an almost perfect finish. But that is not good enough. See now that you have this perfect finish anytime you scratch your finger nail against the paint it leaves a mark. So to solve this I applied a clear poly coat from Minwax. Sprayed it with the paint flow valve only 1 turn open since it is so thin and can be sprayed without thinning. Same process as with the paint but sand with 400 grit instead, Applied 4 coats and my doors are scratch free and easy to clean. I painted the outside of the cabinets with a latex paint and brush. Since you don't see much of them it makes little difference to use a sprayer. I have since become very good with this sprayer and do many projects with it now with confidence. If you use a latex paint I find that Sherwin Williams works better then Bear and you have to thin Latex paint since it is much thicker then oil. Oil paint is just a pain to clean up and it smells so you can't use it inside. When you are ready to paint setup a small spray booth in the garage or outside, make a turntable if you can so you move the work and not your position. You have to make sure you keep as much dust out as possible. Wet the sides of the paint booth and the floor. I used my garage and also put plastic up on the outside of the doors to keep as many insects as possible out. I had to refinish several doors do to small a insect getting stuck on the paint. My brother in-law told me that there is a paint you can use with a brush that flows at the right rate and dries with a tile look. I did see these online for $100 gallon. Oh I used a 1.5 needle in the sprayer. Good luck it is fun to spray once you master it.

You can order direct from the 800 number in the manual. The sets are $49, and I didn't learn the needle only price. They'll all be available through Home Depot and channel sales this year.
