Answer:	yes, I just used it on a windsor settee, took all of 5 minutes to paint it. Perfect finish. Use a smaller tip than the one supplied with the spray gun, however. The standard tip puts out too much material for furniture and cabinet work.

Question:	Is this an electric sprayer or do you need an air compressor
Answer:	No air compressor is needed. It is electric powered, not air.
Question:	Do I need an air compressor for this? Or is this a stand alone tool
Answer:	The base unit has a blower or low-pressure compressor built in, no external compressor required. Make sure the base is sitting where it will pull in clean air, no dust or debris.
Question:	can this be used for oil base paints
Answer:	Yes. Cleaning oil-based primer took forever to clean because you must use mineral spirits and be sure to get every bit of it off the interior parts. Cleaning latex-based primer and paint out of the sprayer with soapy water was much easier but still time-consuming, especially since I tried to get every bit of primer/paint off the outside of the sprayer and pump in case I want to sell it if we ever finish the kitchen-painting project. I am an almost elderly homemaker, amateur painter, and I was able to use it successfully.
Question:	Has anyone use it as a Spray tan system
Answer:	I have. The turbine has similar specs (i.e. correct pressure and airflow) to some other HVLP spray tanning systems; however, for me the cup size was too large and spray pattern on the included nozzle made it difficult to not overspray. I purchased a wagner "spray tan cartridge attatchment" aka "Wagner Detail Front End Kit" (ASIN B00FDZDO32). It works ok but the cup size is still fairly large and tended to overspray . I have since replaced that gun with a "Maxi-Mist Spray Tanning Gun Replacement Lightweight" ($35 on ebay) and am happy with the results even though I had to adapt the hose to fit. Maxi-mist's MaxiMist™ Evolution TNT Spray Tanning System looks like the wagner painted all black and I wonder if the front end gun ($50) is compatible. I don't use this professionally but can say its works, especially with a purpose made gun. I got best results with the pressure set just above minimum.

Answer:	There is a slightly different approach for oil based paints. Instead of using warm water to clean the unit, you'd use a cleaning solvent like mineral spirits.

Answer:	The Super Finish Max should be able to spray it with no thinning required, but extremely thick paints may need to be thinned down slightly. Spray your paint on a piece of cardboard to test for the right paint flow.

Answer:	No, the Super Finish Max does not require a compressor. It is a plug-in unit, which means all you need is a standard power outlet.
Question:	Will this spray rustoleum oil based paint

Yes, you can spray oil based paints, but you’ll need to make sure to use the proper spray tip. This sprayer comes with the 1.5mm, 2mm and 4mm tips of which you would use the 1.5mm for oil based paints, stains, polyurethane, etc. You can also purchase separately the 1mm tip for such things as sealer and varnish to obtain an even finer spray. Please note that there is also a 2.5mm and 3.5mm tips available as well. The suggested use for all these tips are explained in detail on page 5 of the manual. Thinning may be necessary and you should do so based on the paint manufacturer’s guidelines. The output increases and lessens the burden on the motor. You can go without adding water to thin it however there is a difference in output and you can smell and hear the motor working much harder.

Answer:	It's for painting as a tool. But it does come with a course insert for thick liquids so if can mite thin some may just do the trick.

Answer:	We are currently using this sprayer for disinfecting. It does very well at providing a fine mist . The adjustment on the trigger adjusts the volume of product that is sprayed and we had to turn this out all the way to get the pattern we needed. Once we made the adjustment the adjusting screw would not stay in place. The spring didn't have enough tension to maintain the setting. We remedied this by wrapping a strip of duct tape around the trigger and adjustment knob once we had it set. Now we can grab it and go. We have used it for roughly 7 months now and it has certainly held up to the task. I feared the disinfectant chemicals would eat this sprayer alive but to my surprise it is still working as designed.

Having the right paint thickness is key to getting an even finish. Before spraying, check that the thickness (viscosity) of your chosen material is suitable for this paint sprayer. Run your material through the included flow cup and time in seconds how long it takes for the cup to empty. If it takes longer than 100 seconds, you will need to dilute - add water (or paint thinner) and repeat the test until you have a nice even material consistency. Check your material container for dilution instructions.

Which coating materials can be used with this paint sprayer?

You can ‘feed’ your paint sprayer pretty much any liquid material, so long as it isn’t flammable or corrosive. Paint sprayer nozzle provides three interchangeable spray patterns including horizontal flat jet, vertical flat jet and circular jet. Easily adjust the jet pattern to suit different places for optimal spraying.

Adjustable Flow-Rate Knob

Adopts advanced HVLP system (High Volume Low-Pressure Air System) which allows constant spraying for even, one-coat painting. Designed for paint waste reduction to cut your paint cost in half. Tune the regulator to adjust the paint amount and and prevent overspray/paint waste.

Viscosity Cup

Fill the viscosity cup with the thinned paint and test how long it takes for the cup to empty. Please follow the instructions in the manual for thinning the paint.

Overhead Spraying

When spraying objects overhead, turn the suction tube in the paint container backwards. Gloves or a mask might be needed when spraying overhead.

Horizontal Surface Spraying

When spraying horizontal surfaces, turn the suction tube in the paint container forward.
