Question:	Can u put a 1/2 in roller on it
Answer:	No, I tried it by taking out the 2 red end caps and putting them in a store bought 1/2 inch but their roller is a bit smaller, however if you clean them good they last quite a while.

Answer:	If you are really steady handed no-tape but if you are not then I thnk tape is good. I did not use tape when I was painting at the ceiling but down the trim line I used tape.

Question:	Can you paint around crown molding with this
Answer:	I have not tried to paint crown molding with this product, but I would not attempt to try using this product on crown molding. Personally I use a 2" or 3" square edge good quality brush (Wooster brand) made in the USA to paint crown modling and trim. I hope this help this helps you out.

Question:	How does this work when cutting in a different color wall next to another wall that's been textured? Will the texture on the wall that the guide is on
Answer:	It does not matter if one wall is textured and the other is not. Simply make sure the edge of the shield is directly in the center crease between both walls. This edger works on both smooth and textured drywall.
Question:	How often do I need to change the fabric insert
Answer:	Replace the fabric insert once the old insert is completely saturated with paint. It's much easier to insert the fabric if you pull on the ears somewhat aggressively and then pull down to the bottom of the reservoir. It's very important you pull it all the way down to the bottom.
Question:	How do you paint baseboards with this
Answer:	Use the same technique with baseboards as you do with moldings. If you have carpet, this is more of a challenge, although very easy with hardwood or tile flooring. When painting the top of the baseboards, take it slow and make sure to keep the tip of the shield consistently on the border between the baseboard and wall without lifting it off the line; it's very important you also angle the brush over severely to make sure paint is being applied to the surface effectively. Some oddly shaped baseboards will be more of a challenge, and in the near future Emery Edgers will be adding a smaller brush to the product line that will make it even easier to paint all baseboards.
Question:	Negative reviews only discuss quality of the brush, but the video looks like the brush works fine. Any other details as to why it doesn't work
Answer:	I've used it already and certainly like it. I've been looking to get a better brush, haven't been able to find one as described in the video. I would have paid more for this tool if the company offered a better brush. It took me a little bit to get it going, and it did a great job. The video suggests that the brush should be slightly below the tip of the tool. Due to the thin low quality brush, I installed the brush slightly above the tip, and it worked well for me. Question:	How does it work against textured ceilings or walls
Answer:	My walls are textured and it worked well. Don't dip the whole pad in paint, but rather apply paint to the middle of the pad with a brush.

Answer:	Yes, in the same way as you would re-use a paintbrush or roller. Remove excess paint back into tin; clean with white spirit for gloss paint or water for emulsion. Dry and re-use as you wish.

Answer:	No. It barely works on interior walls. It slides right off the base so im sure it would fly right off on exterior texture. I actually threw this one out the window and went up to Lowes and bought one and it worked beautifully. The black handle on this one moves too easily while the lowes item's handle did not move. Same brand just different handle i guess.

Answer:	I have walls on my stairs 20 feet high. No way was I going up a ladder to do this. I used this on an extending pole and was amazed how simple it was. Good luck.

Question:	Is there a money back guarantee
Answer:	It should say on packaging but I don't think so, I already threw away wrapping. They did work good for me.
Question:	How much paint does it hold
Answer:	It gives good coverage with one dip.
Question:	Does it leave streaks on the walls or does it give it the same look as a roller would? Does anyone have finished photos
Answer:	If you apply it evenly you shouldn't have streaks. You may have to apply two coats depending on the color of your paint and the original wall color. I suggest applying each coat in a different direction. Example: if you do first coat horizontally (side to side) apply second coat vertically ( up and down) for full, even coverage.
Question:	is this sharp? will it leave a mark on the area you lay it on? thanks
Answer:	I didn’t have any issues with it leaving a mark. It’s tapered enough to give you a clean line but not sharp enough to cut anything.
Question:	Hair dryers easily remove glued labels. Hasn't anyone tried one
Answer:	Heating a label will help in the removal. I usually use Goof Off to remove a label quickly without leaving any sticky residue.
Question:	does it still come with the label
Answer:	Yes and honestly don’t waste your money.
Question:	Can this be used in lieu of painters tape and achieve a nice straight line? I am painting a bedroom and hate cutting in using painters tape
Answer:	Definitely. It did a nice job of keeping a straight line. It did take a little bit if adjusting to learn to hold it and paint. But once I figured that out, it was excellent.
