Answer:	Yes, when thinned with Acetone or Thinner. According to Rustoleum Tech Support use from 5-15% Thinner added the paint. I hope this helps.

Answer:	Use Rustoleum rust Disolver if you're concerned about those rusty pits turning rusty again in the future. Rustoleum Rust dissolver states the rusty surface will be paintable. I've had good experiences with Rustoleum.

Answer:	I would not spray it on rabbits. But if you are spraying the cadge make sure they don't chew on it it might make them sick.

Answer:	This is a primer and is intended to be used on bare metal. The metal should be clean of oil and grease though I believe you can spray over rust, though not preferred. This is not the sort of primer you use to blend out sheet metal and should not be sanded.

Answer:	I cleaned light rust with a little paint thinner and then sprayed this primer on a prep gun motor. Then used black rustoleom paint over primer. And its been two years and the motor is still in good shape.

Answer:	No, this will not work on galvanized pipe, there is a special primer for that.

Answer:	I have used it as a primer for wrought iron, followed by a color coat. Remove loose rust as much as possible.

Answer:	I used this on a tin roof on my boathouse and it worked great. After applying this primer, I put a thick coat of Kool Seal and haven’t had any issues!
Question:	What if surface is part rusted, rest painted? With spray can there will be some overspray. Will primer stick to enamel
Answer:	Surface rust--It depends on how deep the rust is. If really rusted I would use a wire sanding wheel attach to a drill and grind as must rust away as possible (wear goggles to protect eyes)and then sand... If just surface rust I would use fine grade sand paper to treat area. Clean area as best as you can and spray a few coat of red/black (your color choice of primer) primer on area and let dry. Yea, there will be some overspray but sometimes that can not be helped..... Primer stick to enamel. Yes. It depends on what type of paint is on item you want to spray. I would say yes that primer will stick to enamel. I don't know if companies still made enamel primer, some do and some don't. Read the label on the can. I would sand the area were you want to prime with a fine sandpaper to remove the shine from the enamel paint. Clean area and try a test area to see what happens.............Good luck. JMJ

Answer:	I don't know what an intermediary coat is, as well as etching primer. I used it as a primary coat on all the exterior plastic (BUMPERS, etc) after wash and clean, 3 coats. Then I applied Rust-Oleum 248656 Professional Grade Rubberized Undercoating Spray, Black 3 coats and finally, Rust-Oleum Black, Matte BlackRust-Oleum Automotive 251574 Trim and Bumper Spray 3 coats. All my bumpers were restored to a beautiful practically new look in black. They were previously gray and sun bleached.

Answer:	Yes, but it is fairly thin and designed for a hard finish like metal or fiberglass. A thicker primer designed for wood would work better.

Answer:	This stuff is very tough to sand it is almost like stand alone paint very durable kinda surprised me no fingerprint transfer after it dried so I dont think it matters much. I left mine on for a week before I got around to painting I just ran a clean new terrycloth towel & normal prep and my flat black topcoat is fine a year later

Answer:	I just checked out my rollers. I believe the answer is yes. I don’t physically feel any difference between the white and yellow.

Answer:	If you have an air compressor, I would get the $15 spray gun to apply it to plywood. Comes out perfect. I do not advise using these rollers for adhesive.

Question:	CAn I use this on ceramic tiles for a craft project
Answer:	No paint really bonds to ceramic tile. If the tile are subjected to rubbing any paint can rub off.

Answer:	I used this primer with createx auto air sealer and it worked great. Heres a link. I did get a lot of bubbling from the primer when I sprayed from the can though. I'm not sure why. I ended up stripping that paint job and starting over. The second time, I used this zinnser primer in my hvlp spray gun and it worked great!

Question:	Does this contain zinc to work as a good primer for aluminum
Answer:	Not sure this answers your question but I can tell you from experience that this stuff really works. I used it on my aluminum engine top side and it's been 2yrs and my engine paint still look new to date.
Question:	How high of temp can it sustain? says intermittent up to 2000°f. kinda ambiguous. can it do 1600f for 1hour
Answer:	i used this product on my 4 pistion calipers and tested them at my campus garage, i tested it under constant and heavy braking, it withstood temps up too 1989F. The red paint i used has been on there for 3 years and i still havent had to touch up the paint
Question:	Can I paint now and put the parts aside, then do the curing process later, after my engine is back in service
Answer:	do a light paint now, let it dry then paint again for better results.
Question:	Can I paint my pots and pans with this? Re-doing kitchen and would like to not have to buy all new pots and pans

Question:	Can this be used for spraying painted rocks to seal them for leaving outside
Answer:	It is flat paint BUT the cans failed all five of them. Some with half of the can full or empty however you want to see it. Will never buy again
Question:	Can i use this spray paint on my sons cranial helmet
Answer:	If you want it shiny use high gloss, if you want a satin duller finish ( which I prefer) just use the satin finish no need for clear coat
Question:	Would this work with shoes
Answer:	If the paint it chipping and not smooth you may want to sand down certain areas. But if it’s fine, the black should cover the white no problem.
Question:	At this price, is it a case of 12 cans
Answer:	Yes, clean the surface your spray painting with degreaser even dawn liquid dish soap.. or even better liquid deglosser, if you don’t wanna spent the money on deglosser(cheap) just sand lightly with 220 to dull the shine to adhere the paint and do 3 light coats with 3-5 minutes between coats this paint drys fast to the touch but takes 3-4 days to completely dry hard
