Answer:	If you are wanting to paint a vinyl covered piece of furniture, yes, you can use chalk paint. Chalk covers just about any type of material. For tips on how to get the best results, you can do a quick Google search and there is lots of handy ideas available. Hope this answers your question. I do know that many people will mix a touch of water into the chalk paint. I have also used latex paint with textile liquid additive and had very good results. I would, if you are painting furniture with chalk paint, also use wax over the project for vinyl after painting to give it more flexibility. Cotton and Poly blend tend to get a little hard after it dries - but washing it will help eliminate the stiffness from the paint.

Answer:	I had a very marked up old dark brown table that I used it on. No need to sand or use primer . Did two coats and you would never know it had been in such bad, marked up shape . Came out great

Answer:	I used Ultramarine on my sofa and love seat...It came out a GORGEOUS NAVY BLUE!! It's not dark blue...it's NAVY BLUE!... but IT IS the one on which you can see the color blue...IS NOT the navy blue that looks so dark that you have to place it under the light to make sure is not black.

Answer:	Absolutely! In fact, on some items I prefer a matte poly. The look is very similar. The only thing you give up is the warm touch of wax. The look is very close though.

Home centers that have tint bases in chalk paint can match a latex paint chip color if you're trying to match & don't want to buy multiple qts of paint to mix your own (Dutch Boy & Rustoleum are two brands of chalk paint that have tint bases in light and dark).

Answer:	It’s a light cream color almost ivory but darker.
Question:	can you paint chalk paint over a shellac finish
Answer:	Yes, clean with TSP solution first and I found if you buy a quart of Kilz bonding adhesive and roll that on with a foam roller your chalk paint will adhere better. Kilz bonding adhesive is sold on Amazon not your local hardware store.
Question:	Can I mix two shades of paint, such as Gypsum and Ivory
