Question:	Is it magnetic
Answer:	It depends on the material you paint and how many coats you put on. It works great on drywall and plywood.
Question:	Can it be sprayed on with a paint sprayer
Answer:	I have had it on my kitchen walls almost exactly one year now and I don't expect to need a repaint for a couple more. There is a teeny bit of wear, but flat black isn't really what I was going for myself. Personally I think it looks more attractive after a year of light use (shopping lists and other personal reminders). If you're expecting classroom level use, I don't know but would guess it would need an annual repaint to keep it sharp.
Question:	Do chalk pen drawings come off easily
Answer:	I did not season the paint????? once dry it worked fine I did put 3 coats on and let completely dry between coats. I did write on it and it worked well, but i do not continuously write on it.
Question:	how long does this last on the wall? do i need to repaint every year

can this paint be used outside

Answer:

I bought a Derwent sharpener that holds the pencil while you turn the crank. It is designed to get a really sharp point. The upside is the lead doesn't break. The down side is it can really shorten the life of your pencil. But the good news is you control how many turns you use to preserve it. I have also heard that you can heat your pencil to try and heal the breaks but don't really recommend since you run the risk of melting your core away if you aren't careful. The best way is to hold the pencil still in your non-dominant hand and turn the sharpener instead of the pencil.

Question:	Will this work on cardboard boxes
Answer:	I haven't tried liquid chalk but this is an awesome product for use with chalk sticks.
Question:	How much will one can cover
Answer:	I did - a whoooooole lot of mirrors, actually. My classroom used to be an old dance classroom and there was an entire wall of mirrors at the front. I used this stuff to spray paint over it and turn it into a makeshift chalkboard, and I have two caveats: 1. While it can and DOES work on a mirror, you need to make absolutely certain that the mirror is clean. Like, spotless. Otherwise it's going to cause bumps and bubbles and make actually writing on it kind of troublesome.2. You will probably need to do at least two coats - one seems to be too thin and can cause chalk to "scrape through" the paint, so I'd definitely do at least two coats to make sure you've got a good chalkboard base.Do those two things, and you'll be good to go!
Question:	Can you use liquid chalk on this or do you have to use the chalk sticks only

Answer:	There is not a specific "adult" version of World Colors. But of course, adults as well as children age 3 and up can work with the product. As you continue to grow artistically... the next step up would be Goldfaber found in Faber-Castell Creative Studio and then to the Art & Graphic Professional range.

Answer:	The Premier pencils are soft leads that blend easily and cover large areas quickly. The verithin leads are hard leads designed for outlining, tiny spaces and are not as easily blended.
Question:	Is this stuff supposed to be as thick as tar
Answer:	Marissa, right now the 24 pencil set of Prismacolor is a GREAT price $8+. Grab a set or two just to get a feel for them. My first colored pencils were Cra-Z-Art set of 72 from Wal-Mart for under $6 ! I've bought more of them because the assortment is so big and very happy with result. Cra-Z-Art also has a set of only 8-10 colors called Super Brights which really pop color, less than $2. Siva "vivid" are very nice and great price at Wal-Mart. too. Amazon carries all these but higher price . . . Friend and I started coloring at the same time and have completely different styles but we both agree on these brands and are disappointed with Prismacolor. The one exception, Prismacolor seems to have the only TRUE RED, other brands I've used are orangeish. We buy any gel pens or colored pencils we find at dollar, warehouse or 'big box' stores for a few dollars with large assortment of colors. Amazing what you find that work really good much cheaper than big name brands. Also we have found HOW you color is a major factor: she has a very light touch and complains about not getting strong color where I have a heavy hand and get much stronger color using same pencils. AND greyscale makes a gigantic difference as shading is done for you. I use lighter color first and add darker shades; she starts with dark and adds light shades. Basic design or complicated isn't really an issue it's what appeals to you and doing some experimenting. Dover or Creative Haven have mega coloring book choices at excellent prices $3-$5-6 instead of the $10-$15 books which are often disappointing. This is for FUN don't let others who are "very serious" or considered "advanced colorists" ruin the experience for you. Pick books, brands & colors that make you happy. You'll LOVE it !!!

Answer:	I have actually on a plastic kitchen set (smooth) and an activity table (texture) with two coats everything has held up no problem. This is about a year since I applied it.

Answer:	Just found a work-around! You can use a sealer to make a porous chalkboard non-porous (or to lock in a sign that you don't want to change). I found this info on the Crafty Crock (who sells the liquid markers, so it makes sense that they'd have solutions. Here's what they say:"In either case, we recommend using either In either case, we recommend using either Krylon Crystal Clear Acrylic Spray or if you prefer a matte finish, then Aleene's Spray Acrylic Sealer Matte Finish will work well. Apply 3 coats of sealer if you are sealing a porous surface so that you can easily erase your chalk markers in the future. A single coat should do if you are sealing over top of your chalk markers so they can't be erased. Be sure to follow the manufacturer's instructions on the spray can. or if you prefer a matte finish, then Aleene's Spray Acrylic Sealer Matte Finish will work well. Apply 3 coats of sealer if you are sealing a porous surface so that you can easily erase your chalk markers in the future. Answer:	We used this paint on large wooden Christmas trees (we used the green chalkboard paint) where we wanted to change the message frequently. They have been outside in all kinds of weather - snow, rain, ice, sun for approximately 6 weeks for the past 3 years (during the Christmas season). No sign of having to repaint.

Answer:	The Expert colored pencils are standard circular pencils while the Premium are triangular in shape.
Question:	Can you use regular chalk sticks for this
Answer:	I don't think I would personally try using these on fabric. The texture of the pencil is nice on paper, but I don't think there would be much color saturation on fabric. Good luck with your project.
Question:	Can it be rolled on a wall
Answer:	I find them to work quite well. In fact, I use them more than my set of prismacolor pencils. They also don't break as easily while using them.

Answer:	They don’t compare to prismacolor at all. They are an okay colored pencil and that is all. Prismacolor pencils are in a different class than these. I am going to buy the 120 color set, I do like variety and there is always a place for them.

Answer:	A little does go a long way, but you will need to apply two coats. If I wanted to paint a cabinet, I would buy two jars of the paint to be sure I had enough.

Answer:	This is a thick liquid...but spreads well...it says it can be applied to unfinished wood...But, I used it over chalk paint, did go on a bit darker than I liked, so next time I will use the minwax antique paste wax, when I want a lighter antique finish. Instructions.. did recommend, if using over chalk paint and want a lighter antique look...use clear wax first. Hope this helps.

Answer:	If you want a glossy finish use seal polyurethane, but a matte just clear wax, I do use the seal just because it protects from water (I have kids ☺️)

Remove any hardware, wash surface with soap and water and let dry. Remove any loose paint or rust and lightly sand glossy surfaces for better adhesion. Primer is not required for most surfaces, but recommended for bare wood or wood high in tannins such as redwood, mahogany and fir.

Brush On

If primer is used, wait 2 hours before applying finish. Stir thoroughly to re-disperse any settled pigment. Use a high quality synthetic brush to apply light even brush strokes. For each coat applied, allow 2 hours before next coat.

Top Coat

Once last coat dries for at least 8 hours, apply topcoat for extra protection. Apply 1-2 light even coats, waiting 2 hours between coats.

Question:	How Do You Wash It
Answer:	Originally there were 10 sets. One was pulled from the group which undoubtedly will affect the idea of having exactly the same collection as the 120 set. Each of the themed sets contain a color chart of the 120 colors in the largest set. From that chart you will see what is missing from the 9 themed sets. Hopefully, Castle Arts will replace that 10th set with a substitution set containing the missing colors. If they do that , I won't have to buy the full set. :) So, to answer your question, you may need to buy the120 set to get all of the colors. I wish they sold open stock. That would certainly solve my problem. :0}

Answer:	We tried this paint this weekend and it did work. It was difficult to put on thin coats because the paint was thick. I put on 2 coats, tested and the magnet stuck in a few areas but would slide down other areas. I put on a third coat and got the same result. My husband lightly sanded the area and we put on a fourth coat - and that did the trick. It works great now. Perhaps if we had sanded after the 2nd coat we would have gotten away with just 3 coats.

Question:	Does this have to be sealed or will it stay on even after washing, for example, on a coffee cup
Answer:	I used plastic cups to hold it as I applied it. The cups can't be sent through a dishwasher but having washed by hand, I just checked and it still functions as a chalkboard. If you seal it, you'll probably lose the chalk board surface. But it does stay on through mild/gentle hand washing with no sealant. I can't BELIEVE I could find that out so quickly! >.
Question:	Please could you provide msds material safety data sheet
Answer:	Didn't come with one. Just says non-toxic on the label.
Question:	Can you use liquid chalk markers on it
Answer:	Yes, liquid chalk markers should work just fine on boards painted with chalkboard paint. However, since I haven't personally used liquid chalk markers I would recommend trying it on a sample before using it on a finished project.
Question:	for those who painted on glass.. is it staying on? does it take more than 1 coat to really adhere? Should I have primed before
Answer:	I didn't prime. Did 2 coats and then distressed.

It is recommended to use a polyester or nylon roller cover in 3/8" or 1/4" nap. Brushing is not recommended but a synthetic brush can be used if necessary.

Answer:	each can is up to 90ft2. So this pack of 2 will before 180ft2.
