Question:	Can I also paint the bottom of my Starcraft aluminum boat with this? I need a white color. Thanks
Answer:	1. I don't think this is the right paint for aluminum or at a minimum, you will need a special "aluminum primer" paint (I think Rust-Oleum makes it). 2. I think for a boat that will stay in the water for much more than a typical 12 hour day each time it is used, you need professional equipment and paint to do the job, probably best left for marine shop.
Question:	can u paint a car whith this paint
Answer:	Yes! I've used the white and Oyster White, both successfully. The Oyster White is the closest match you can get to Old English White. The benefit of Topside is the UV protection. Be sure to cut the paint. I did 1 part paint, 3/4 part mineral spirits, and 1/4 part Penetrol (found at Home Depot, used to help the paint lay flatter). I applied the paint with a high density roller and foam brushes where the roller couldn't fit. Two coats, then wet sand with 600 wet/dry paper to remove Orange peel. Two coats, then sand with 800. Then two coats and wet sand with 1000. Two coats then wet sand with 1500. Two coats then wet sand with 2000. A lot of work, but worth the savings IMO. Good luck!There should be a picture of my car in the review section. This was my first attempt at it. I very recently used the Oyster White and others have been HIGHLY impressed.

Answer:	Yes, according to directions on the container. Reduce with 10-15% xylene. Let dry 24 hours. Sand with #220 between coats.

Answer:	Yes! If you get the tub repair/ paint kit you're spending $30-$60 or more, and this does a better job at $15. Seriously can't beat it.

Answer:	It’s not really shiny. It’s more of a matte finish. So I’d say a more satin finish.

Answer:	Yes, I’ve used a clear top coat many times but do not apply the top coat until the base paint is fully cured, I repeat fully cured. In my experience the base paint may orange peel when a top coat is applied at less than 4-5 days at 75F+ temps and

Answer:	Not if you want a bird to live there, in my opinion. Birds tend to use their beaks to maneuver in cages, even if they aren't clipped. Any paint will be ingested by their strong beaks when they do so. Your best bet is to talk to a veterinarian or a pet store and find out which are safe. Normally beyond paint choice, the cage goes through a heating process which makes it safe for birds. I have no idea where to go to get that done though, another question for your local veterinarian or pet store. Hopefully this is helpful.

Answer:	We used the 5 gal. in one application. Once it is mixed it must be used. We painted layers until it started to gel. It said to let it cure for 7 days before we put water in the spa. We didn't try to apply another 5 gals. as it covered it fantastically. We are very satisfied.

Answer:	yes this galvanizing compound spray can be used to paint a wood surface. but it is intended to be sprayed on iron to protect it from rusting(oxidation). the spray contents are pure zinc metal powder mixed with a clear paint so it will adhere to the iron substrate. yes it can be used to paint wood but it is an expensive wood paint. it is also conductive because the zinc metal powder id electrically conductive.

Answer:	I wouldn’t. You most likely would change the heat transfer properties of the coil. Loss of efficiency in the system.

Answer:	The instructions only say to first remove any dirt, grease, oil, salt, and LOOSE RUST. It doesn't say you have to remove all the rust or convert it. That is part of why I got it. Hope this helps.

Answer:	It's not really designed to be painted over. The finish is soft and easily scratched off. This stuff is designed to be left exposed to the elements. That's how it controls corrosion.

Answer:	I live in Oregon and it’s done well on my iron gate. To prep it I used a wire brush to mainly loosen any chips. I didn’t prime first.

Answer:	I sprayed a top coat over this primer about two hours after priming with great results. You also can let it cure several days, then wet sand "600+ grit" with good results.

Once primer is dry, shake can for one minute and spray at any angle 10-12" from surface in a steady, back-and-forth motion. Slightly overlap each stroke. Shake can during process and spray 1 or more light coats a few minutes apart.

Top Coat

Once last coat dries for 24 hours, apply topcoat for extra protection. Use same technique as with paint application. Apply 1-2 thin coats a few minutes apart.
