Answer:	I don't believe there is any warranty. We applied it two years ago and the covered areas still look good. The section in direct Sun...needs to have it applied again.

When we removed the lid, it looked like it had become a gel but my husband used a drill with a paint mixer/stirrer tool and it became liquefied again. We applied it to the siding without incident and the color matched the new 5 gallon containers we bought this summer .

Answer:	I’m in the process of staining my fence (I am using a different brand) with a semi-transparent stain. I have 187’ of fence at 5’ high including 2 gates. Applied with a roller and brush, I’m going to need around 13 gallons. My recommendation is rent a sprayer from Home Depot. You’ll save time and money as you’ll use less product and it will go much much faster.

Answer:	I have a deck/patio furniture set, including a cast iron umbrella base. Lots of use over the last year with no evidence of scratches in the deck. The stain penetrates the wood rather than building a barrier so dragging stuff across the boards won't take it off provided the wood is properly prepared.

Answer:	This is a water based product and as such gets a better coverage area. The product should yield approximately 600 SF. However, when staining a deck, you'll not meet that coverage area if you use an airless paint sprayer. Typically the average would be 450 - 475 SF. If you roll it, you should expect to get between 500 - 525 SF.

The bumper did turn on my 93 Hardbody, but I did have some "altering" to the brackets to do in order for the bumper to fit right. All in all, it's hard to beat the price of this bumper, and the overall build quality is good.

• Remove surface contaminants. Wipe with a clean rag wetted with TotalBoat Dewaxer & Surface Prep.
• Abrade lightly with a Scotch-Brite pad.
• Wipe with TotalBoat Special Brushing Thinner 100.
• Mask areas adjacent to application site.
• Priming is not necessary.

WOOD

• Mask areas next to application site.
• Sand smooth down to 220-grit sandpaper.
• Wipe clean with TotalBoat Special Brushing Thinner 100.

MIXING

The non-skid particles in TotalTread have a low density so they remain suspended in the paint, without floating to the top, or sinking to the bottom, like other non-skid paints. Mixing is easy and quick, just use the supplied mixing sticks and stir thoroughly. During application, you don’t need to keep stirring in order to keep the particles suspended in the paint.

APPLICATION

1. Apply TotalTread only when dew, rain, and temperature conditions will not affect proper application or drying.
2. TotalTread can be thinned 5-10% with TotalBoat Special Brushing Thinner 100, if needed.

TIP: Thin, even coats will yield the best results.

TINTING TOTALTREAD

To get a desired color, without ruining its high-traction finish properties, TotalBoat TotalTread can be tinted, up to 10% by volume, with TotalBoat Wet Edge Topside Paint.

TIP: It's very important not to add too much tint, or you'll ruin the non-skid properties of TotalTread.

Sand lightly, apply final coat.

• After the first coat dries (8 hrs. @ 90°F; 12 hrs. @ 70°F;16 hrs. @ 50°F), sand the surface lightly with 220-grit sandpaper. TIP: When sanding between coats, some of the grit will get sanded down, but do not sand completely smooth.
• Wipe the surface clean with TotalBoat Special Brushing Thinner 100, before applying the final coat.

Question:	What is the coverage per gallon
Answer:	I was able to install them in an hour or two. The hard part was taking the old bumper off and salvaging the plastic trim and parking sensors (I was too cheap to replace them when replacing the metal parts). I watched a couple of YouTube videos to know what I was getting into.
