Question:	Do I have to use the Valspar Signature paint for these crystals or is any brand of paint okay to use
Answer:	Use a portion if you will not be using the whole gallon of paint. And use the paint with the crystals with in a couple days or the they will be absorbed in the paint & will become ineffective. Your results will be BEAUTIFUL
Question:	Is it best to mix this in the entire gallon of paint or add it little by little in the tray
Answer:	Yep. You can mix it in directly with paint or with a glaze that will go over the dried paint (like a clear gloss). The latter results in REALLY shiny + sparkles, which isn't what everyone wants. Mixing it into the paint itself, you'll need a lot more of it, especially if the color is very dark, otherwise it won't show up well or at all. My preference is to mix in a little at a time so I have more control over distribution (like, pour out paint into a tray, mix in a little in the tray directly, and then paint with it). But, to each their own.
Question:	How do i mix it with regular wall paint? do i just pour it in and stir? will the sparkle effect go away
Answer:	No. I think it would be fine to paint over later. We used it on a textured wall but I don't think you could feel the glitter or would know it was there if it was painted over.

Answer:	I worked for a paint deparment. The only way to tell it is the right color is to open the can and to paint a little peice of something with it. The can says pure white because that is the base paint they had to use to put the ivory formula in to make the right color.

Answer:	I love this paint. I have used it in 2020 with no issues. It goes on great, and it only took 2 coats to go from medium gray to very light gray/off-white (Pewter). The color is definitely different than pictured, but I looked through other review swatches to pick what I wanted.

Question:	Snow white vs. swiss coffee? how would the color description differ between those two and which is a lighter, brighter white
Answer:	This is a tough question because color is so subjective. Neither are white white. Snow White is warmer ...like a dose of honey has been added while Swiss Coffee is more of a light tan, cooler color. If you request a color chart from vendor it is pretty accurate. I chose Swiss coffee for the interior of my home, then I used another brand in brilliant white for wood work trim. You may want to make sure the color you choose goes well with other paints you may be using. I understand that by year end there will be more colors available from montage. Great paint in my opinion. Good luck with your project!

Question:	Can they be used multiple times
Answer:	NO!! They say you can..The package directions send you to the website for instruction on how to refill. It states to twist the bottom in reverse - I bought a package of two and BOTH broke on the first twist. I also read on here you can dip in your paint for touch if you can’t refill it - maybe a couple times - the brush falls apart so do not plan on using this for a larger project. I was painting a window frame and still had to resort back to another brush for touch up after both broke and the brush ends fell apart.

Answer:	We have not tested different types of additives such as glitter, however something such as glitter should be fine and not cause an adverse effect. Please note that if you add too much(meaning more glitter than paint), you will have adhesion issues.
Question:	I have dark purple paint and i fill i order the lighter shade of green will it work? do i need a separate primer first ? then appply the paint
Answer:	You may need multiple coats to cover a dark purple with a light green. In this case, it would hurt to apply a primer to the wall before applying the paint.

How To Tape Your Walls For Painting
