Answer:	It's quite good there but the range becomes limited.

Answer:	You shove the string loop through one of the holes. I had to use a paper clip to pull it through. Then stick the rest through the loop and pull it tight.
Question:	does it measure in decimals? for instance, NOT 10 ft 6 inches but 11.3 ft
Answer:	I tried to use it for that once and it didn't work out to well. I ended up measuring the distance to the ceiling in order to get it straight. Ultimatelyy when the eye falls on it it compares it to a straight line next to it which is usually the ceiling, making the ceiling a great guide to keep pictures straight

Answer:	Yes, it will automatically shut down to save energy if the button is not pressed within 5 minutes. But you can cancel this function manually.

Answer:	I have not had any issues with mine. Only had it for a couple of weeks, but every time I have needed it, it has worked.

Question:	Is the Bluetooth open standards ? Will it work with other Apps or the Android SDK, or is it proprietary and only communicates with Bosch
Answer:	That depends on the size of the corner. The angle finder I have is 8.55 inches long and just under 1.4 inches wide when closed, so the corner must be large enough for the tool to fit inside. The pivot end has a radius slightly smaller than half the with of the two straight edges. You can make a mockup of the tool using the dimensions I have given here an the angle you need and see if it fits the corner you want.
Question:	will this measure height outdoors? ie from the ground to the top of a tree
Answer:	I have had to do a lot of atypical miters and how I do this is to cut one miter angle and them measure this angle to determine the other angle on the miter. This has worked well, but can difficult if you do not have the space needed to expand the Gem Red. Overall this is a remarkable tool that is very accurate. But I needed to buy a smaller digital angle finder to work in smaller spaces. After working with the digital, would never go back to non digital.

Answer:	The measurements are etched, not printed.
Question:	What is the difference between the glm 50 c and the glm 50 cx
Answer:	It will continue counting beyond 360 if you keep rotating it. It goes forever.

Answer:	Not on the D2, 1/32" is the what it rounds to in fraction mode. The E7500i is the next model up with Bluetooth that can round to 1/32",1/16",1/8", or 1/4". The E7400x will also round to these fractions but it is not Bluetooth capable.

Answer:	Don't know about the pole - but I don't see why not though with 72" pole, it has to be really sturdy (and doesn't bend).

Question:	How will you guys ship it to sri lanka? is it via dhl express
Answer:	Yes, you just need to be able to stop the laser beam as close to the peak as possible and have it record that measurement from the base. You can even do it by standing on the ground if the roof is too steep to climb. (I wish I could draw you a picture showing how I would do this.) Using creative problem solving skills will be helpful and then those basic geometric formulas will help for a final estimated calculation. Good luck!

Answer:	Hi, one of my colleagues has my unit, so I can't confirm. But if I remember correctly I think it does have an option to mount it on a tripod.

Answer:	No, I have the same issue. It's too advanced. But if you use it a lot you'll get very good at transferring the 32nds to 1/4 or 8's. Wish I knew this before I bought it.
Question:	Can it measure 30 points per file (30 x 20 = 600), or 30 points total
Answer:	Yes, kind of. I am an appraiser and use my Bosch to measure houses. I can usually see the red light in bright sun but it is NOT easy. I finally bought some red Dewalt glasses and it helps some. In a nutshell I have never NOT been able to measure a house on any day, sunny or not, but it goes much faster with at least some shade.

Answer:	I returned the item because the length was short, making it very it difficult to attached the clasp. Nice bracelet but you may have to get help putting it on. I believe the length was 7 inches.

• The Leica DISTO D2 is a 7 measurement mode laser distance meter. A fully-featured LDM that's designed for multiple purposes, the D2 is easy to operate and builds on the D1 with more functions, higher accuracy at 1.5mm (rounds to 1/32"), and greater range at 100m (330').
• The D2 offers multiple modes of measurement that are useful for many different kinds of projects: distance, min/max, permanent, stake-out, add/subtract, area, and volume, and it includes painter and Pythagoras functions. An intelligent endpiece enables you to measure accurately from outside or inside corners, including diagonal measurements. The D2 calculates area and volume, and remembers the last 10 measurements taken. And a back-lit LCD screen makes it easy to read while you're on the job.
• The D2 measures from its base by default and can be configured to measure from the front. You can also flip out the intelligent end-piece to 90º to hook onto outside corners or extend the end-piece fully for inside corners, and it will automatically measure from the end-piece when extended.
