How to Use RENPHO Smart tape measure?

Step 1:

Install the battery(included in package)

Step 2:

1. Turn on the Tape
2. Press the [M] button to set the length unit(inch/cm)
3. Press the [M] button and hold for 1 second, set the tape mode to measure in "circumferences" or "straight line"

Note: Please do not confuse the use of the two modes.

Step 3:

1. Turn on the Bluetooth on your smartphone
2. Open Renpho App

NOTE:

1. Android 6.0 and above users require GPS permission to turn on the Bluetooth, no need for iOS users (required by Android system)
2. iOS 13 requires Bluetooth permission on your smartphone setting

1. Click into the body part you are measuring in App > Choose the date > Click √

Answer:	Hi Bill, The laser light on the unit will not light up like you can observe on some other models. My mouse worked with the dongle without my having to use the connect switch when it arrived but if yours is not responding try this: plug the dongle into a USB port, the computer should make a sound indicating it has found new hardware, then place the mouse within 1 foot of the dongle and press the connect button. You will observe a blue light as you mentioned flash twice. Release the connect button and you will see the blue light flash 5 times. This should then connect the mouse to the dongle and your mouse should work. Good luck. If you continue to experience problems make certain you are using good batteries. In the photo above, the casing is included in the measurement. To make the calculation easier, let's imagine the arm's circumference was 15 inches. If the tape started at 0, the measurement would show approximately 13, because the casing portion is about 2 inches as you see in the next photo.

But it is not a mistake.

If the tape started at about 2 inches, the measurement would show 15 inches, making it possible to obtain the correct figure without cumbersome mental calculations. This is why our tape measure starts at about 2 inches.

Answer:	Yes, it is a white background with black and red numbers. I bought two for each side of a craft table several years ago, and they have held up well. The adhesive is strong, no peeling back or chipping. Hope this helps!

Answer:	Using the wheel on the cubit you can measure curved objects such as circumference and perimeters of irregular shapes. The measuring unit can be changed within the app from inches, feet, and meters.

Answer:	Cubit can not detect beams in drywall although you can mark them and see them in the app with objects and place the products accordingly.
