Answer:	I don't know the maximum thickness it can gauge, but it is totally Awesome for finding the nails in standard sheet rock thickness. An electrician used it on my walls to find the stud, and it was so effective, that I purchased a set for me. No more random knocking on the walls to find the studs
Question:	Does this case fit the “New” T
Answer:	I have 3/4 inch drywall and it finds the studs really easily, but I don't have carpeting. Guess you should give it a try, can't hurt. If it finds the tacking on the carpeted side walls through your carpet thickness, it might find the joists too! Best answer I can give you.
Question:	Will this fit the M150 series
Answer:	Nothing, I bought it and it was just one magnet. I contacted seller and they said they have only ever sold one at a time.

To use image mode, hold the Walabot against the wall, calibrate and scan the wall. Walabot’s Radio Frequency technology will analyze the objects and using artificial intelligence, translate the results into images which are identified as wooden studs, metal studs, pipes, and wires.

Expert Mode: See the raw radar signals from the Walabot sensor

To use expert mode, hold the Walabot against the wall, calibrate and move over the objects seen in Image mode. Expert mode gives a direct view into the unfiltered Radio Frequency images. This image can show location in more detail, curves in pipes and wires, the intersection between two objects, pest movement in real time and can be used to confirm objects found in Image mode. You can focus the expert mode by managing the intensity bar to better see the objects.

To use pan mode, hold the Walabot against the wall, calibrate and scan from one side of the wall to the other. Pan mode will show an image of objects within the wall and approximately where they are located. Pan facilitates a quick overview of where studs are placed in the wall.

Five Scanning Modes

Stud Detection

M MARSIAN stud locator has 3 stud scan modes. The stud mode can scan studs behind the wall from 0.5 in. (13mm) to 1 in. (25 mm) deep. This wall scanner also provides a deeper wall scanning mode for deep studs up to 1.5in. (38mm) . Both wood and metal studs can be found in deep mode.

AC Wires Detection

Scan up to 2 in. (51mm) deep. For safety, in all modes such as wood stud finder, this wall scanner always detects and indicates the live AC wires. When live AV voltage is detected, the AC warning indicator will illuminate and protect your safety.

Metal Detection

The STUD mode relies on density changes to detect, so it cannot be judged whether wood or metal is measured. Therefore, after using the Stud mode to find the subject, then adjust to the Metal mode to verify again. So in this way you can judge whether wood or metal is detected.

Calibrating the Tool

The calibration function provides you a more reliable result for your every detection. To get the maximum accuracy, press the scan button to start calibration and it will complete in a moment.

*It is important to wait for calibration to complete (2-3 seconds) every time.

To provide safety during your operation and avoid the battery getting loosen, the battery compartment on the back is tighten with a screw. Please unscrew the compartment and insert the battery by screwdriver.

* For transportation safety reasons, the stud finder does not contain the battery.

Finding A Stud

Step 1- Calibrate Before Scanning

Selecting the mode, press and hold the scan button (on the left side of the tool) to calibrate. Wait for the reducing bars disappeared and beep to confirm that the calibration is complete.

Step 2- Move It to Scan the Wall

Press the button and slowly slide the scanner across the wall. The progressing bar on the screen changes as the beep signal guides you to the location of the stud.

*If you shake, tilt or accidentally lift the scanner, you will need to recalibrate the device.

Step 3- Find out the Location of the Target

If the signal bar is full and the beep is loud, pointed arrow on the top of the bar shows you the center of the object. You can mark out the object according to the center and width shown on the screen.

*You can choose the METAL mode to check whether it is wood, metal, or pipe.

Answer:	I would think that it would. I would first take one sickness of newspaper to the area to be scanned to have a smooth surface to slide the stud Sensor on. Then, double-click for deep sensing and search for studs.

5 Scanning Modes Maximum Scanning Depth

The Tacklife stud finder DMS05 has 5 ways to help you detect.

Ferrous metals: 4-3/4˝ / 120mm

Non-ferrous metals(Copper): 3-1/8˝ / 80mm

Copper conductors (live AC):2˝ / 50mm

Wood exact mode: 3/4˝ / 20mm

Step One

• Hold the tool straight up and down, parallel to the studs, and do not rotate the tool.
• Keep tool flat against the wall and do not rock, tilt, or press hard when slowly sliding across the surface being scanned.

Step Two

• Move the detector uniformly over the surface without lifting it off or changing the applied pressure (During the scan, the detector must cling to the wall).
• As the detector begin to approach a stud, the scale h will increase, and the percentage of intensity will also increase, the yellow light will be on.

Step Three

• When the red light is on, the buzzer will sound, the scale and the percentage will increase to the max, the center of stud is located. At this time, make a mark below the top groove of the detector.

1.Ready for metal detecting

• Short press the button on the right side with " 工" shown on the display to enter metal detecting mode (default mode);
• When the detector is far away from the metal, there's with green light on and the signal strength is empty in 0%;
• Move the tool uniformly across the surface

2.Sign the first point

• When the light turns into yellow and the detecting signal strengthen, the detector is close to the metal with a steady tone sound;
• Sign the first point for recording to remind yourself

3.Sign the second point

• As the light turns from yellow/ red to yellow and the signal strength percentage decrease to like the result as step 2，the buzzer will stop sounding;
• Sign the second point for recording as the same as before

4.Get exact position

• Combine the two points from step 2 and step 3 together, make a midpoint to confirm the exact location of the metal;

Answer:	If your tile wall has cement backer board, then this device will not work. If your tile is backed by sheetrock, then it will probably work unless your tile is took thick. I wouldn't trust it to locate pipes behind tile, so take care if you're working in a bathroom.

Stud Scan Detection

Deep Scan Mode scans through 2 layers of drywall up to 1.5 in. (38 mm) deep. DeepScan Mode is a higher sensitivity scanning mode that should be used when there are extra layers of wallboard or paneling. To minimize false positives and/or finding other objects further behind the wall that may not be a stud, always start your scan in StudScan Mode first.

Metal Scan Detection

Tavool wall canner will locate metal studs in StudScan, DeepScan, and Metal Scan Modes. Since Tavool stud finders are looking for a change in density behind drywall, not a particular material, in StudScan and DeepScan Modes the detector will react to metal studs the same as it would for wooden studs.

After you detect the center of a object, Please Use Metal Scan to determine if the previous reading in Stud scan was a wood stud, metal stud, or pipe.

Live AC Wire Detection

AC Wire detection indicates the presence of live, unshielded electrical wiring up to 2 inches (51 mm) deep. In all modes, this wall scanner always detect and indicate the Live AC Wire.

Note: AC Wire Detection works in both StudScan / DeepScan / MetalScan Modes. The AC Wire Detection Icon will flash when live, unshielded wires are detected.

Step 1:Calibrate the tool before every scan

After choose the mode, press and hold the scan button( on the side of the tool) to calibrate this tool. Wait for the reducing bars disappeared and beep to confirm calibration has completed.

In stud/deep mode, put it on the wall where you want to detect to calibrate it ;In AC/Metal mode, put it in the air to calibrate it.

Step 2: Scan the wall

Hold down the button, then move the stud finder along the wall slowly, if shake or lift the scanner accidently, the device needs to be re-calibrate.

The narrow on the screen togather with the beep signal alter, guides you to find the location of the stud.

Step 3: Find the location of the stud

When the signal bar is full and the beep alarm is loudest, it means you have found the center of an object.Mark it with your pencil.

Question:	I saw a post on Facebook that this can now be used on a iPhone. Is that not the case
Answer:	I believe 2016 - 2020 Pathfinder are the same. Mine fit perfectly tight with rubber gaskets provided. My suggestion tho when assembling do not snug down immediately put fasteners in loose to align then tighten down had to go back to learn this.
Question:	Will this run on a LGV
Answer:	No, it is 25 inches. However, this is a great suitcase I have used it on a plane, cruise and car. Love that it is expandable.
Question:	Will it work on Samsung Galaxy Note
Answer:	There is NO combination lock built into this suitcase. The two zippers that open it have eyelets that meet so you can put a lock on the zippers. I use a combination lock that I bought separately. There are instructions with all combination locks showing how you set your preferred 3 numbers, but again, a combination lock isn’t included with this suitcase.
Question:	does the "complete kit" (walabot & accessory kit) include protective film(s), like the $40 separate kit
Answer:	No, it's too big to be carried on and must be checked. I bought it with a companion tote that can be carried on.

Detects wood, metal and electric wires & cables. With a stud finder, you’ll be able to find studs easily without having to play any guessing games.

1. Make sure your fingertips are resting on the handle and not touching the surface being scanned or the scanning head of the tool

2. Hold the tool straight up and down, parallel to the studs, and don't rotate the tool

3. Keep tool plat against the wall and don't rock and press hard when slowly sliding across the surface being scanned

4. Avoid placing your other hand or any other part of your body on the surface being scanned

5. If you receive erratic results, it may be a result of humidity, moisture within the wall cavity or drywall, or recently applied paint or wallpaper that hasn't fully dried. In this case, pls allow a few days for the wall to dry out

6. Depending on the proximity of electrical wiring or pipes to the wall surface, the scanner may detect them in the same manner as the studs. Caution should always be used when nailing, cutting, or drilling in walls, floors, and ceilings that may contain these items

7. To avoid accidents, remember that studs or joists are normally spaced 16 or 24 in (41 cm-91 cm) apart and are 38 mm in width. Anything closer together or a different width may not be a stud, joist, or firebreak. Always turn off the power when working near electrical wires

8. Please kindly read the instructions before operation.

WARNING:

Do not rely exclusively on the detector to locate items behind the scanned surface. Use other information sources to help locate items before penetrating the surface. Such additional sources include construction plans, visible points of entry of pipes and wiring into walls, such as in the basement, and in standard 16 and 24 in. (41 and 61 cm) stud spacing practices.
