Answer:	The product has the option to switch between degrees and percentage slope. My understanding is that only customary units (in/ft) are available for pitch measurements.
Question:	How do you calibrate this level
Answer:	Re-calibrating the zero set angle of the display: If the unit is dropped or you suspect inaccuracy of the product, you can re-calibrate the zero point. 1. Place the level on a flat, level surface as shown below. 2. Press the calibration button for >4 sec. “CAL 1” will appear on the display. 3. Press the calibration button for ~1 sec. “CAL 1” will blink for ~1 sec. then change to “CAL 2”. 4. Flip the level over so the bottom is now on top, as shown below. 5. Press the calibration button for ~1 sec. “CAL 2” will blink for ~1 sec. then change to the active angle display. The 0° reference for the display has been re-calibrated to the level surface.

Answer:	Hello, thank you for your question. *Ensure the device is kept still during calibration. a. Turn off the equipment. Put the equipment on a flat and smooth surface. b. In the shutdown state, hold down both the ON/OFF and CAL buttons until the LCD displays “CAL” symbol. Enter calibration mode. c. Keep it still for a few seconds and press the CAL button, then “CAL1” will be shown on the LCD. d. Rotate the equipment 180° in the same location, then press the CAL button – the “CAL2” will now show on the screen. After “CAL2” disappears from the screen, it indicates that calibrating is completed, the LCD will show the current angle in the high-accuracy display. NOTE: ● The calibration must be performed on a flat and smooth surface with a gradient of no more than 5°. If it exceeds 5°, “Err” will show on the LCD to indicate the calibration failed, you must turn on the equipment again to complete calibration. ● During calibration, the level should not be moved.
