I have the red lensed glasses as well as a plastic card and ultimately I decided that this laser was fantasic for indoor use, I use it all the time and recently bought "Fastcap 98000 Fastcap 3 Hand 5Hd Third Hand Heavy Duty 5-Feet to 12-Feet Extension Pole" to make it even more convenient to use for hanging cabinets, But for outdoors get a more powerful rotary laser, a grade stick with one of those laser readers would be nice if you're doing grading.hope that helps.Also, even indoors I've been in some really bright rooms that wash out the line a bit, but rarely to the point of it being unuseable

There are 6 notches to set the height lower than that, and by measuring with tape measure, you should be able to have the top of the seat approx. 17" from the floor. The toilet seats in my house measure 16.5" and 17.5" from the floor.Something that was not included in the description of this Lift: The seat lifts from the back of the device after you press the release lever on the right side of the seat -- then you slide forward to get up. I had mine set for my weight range and the seat came up so quickly it could have tossed me forward had I not had someone there to catch me. (I am a wheelchair user and had someone help me "practice" before trying it on my own.) I had expected a slow rise rather than being thrust forward and up. You may want to set the weight range for less than your aunt's weight and then rehearse with her before she tries it alone.
