Answer:	sorry the set up I bought (and presumably you're looking at or I wouldn't be getting this question) does/did not. it comes with an infrared remote control. there was a listing with rl25h that cost bout $60-70 more I seem to recall that came with the receiver and maybe the tripod that did. ( I have no use for the vertical on this but I already had a receiver so I went with this listing to save a few bucks). By the way I LOVE IT. I had a manually leveling cst/berger with the bubble levels for over half the cost of this automatic one and boy what a difference in accuracy! I've measured and re-measured 1000 feet and get same level with this one over and over. the listing with the receiver has a better receiver than mine in that mine does not have a bubble leveler on it and I've read that if you don't keep the rod vertical the error far exceeds the miniscule range of variation that this level and achieve.
