Lines Switching&Automatic Power OFF

• Short press the "H" and "V" buttons on the keypad to switch the Horizontal and Vertical laser lines separately.

If you use the receiver on a grade rod it works for approximately 200 feet with and accuracy of plus or -1/8 in that distance.

Answer:	It's really made for indoors but in low-light situations at a short distance you might be able to use it outdoors I use it on a tripod indoors and outdoors but you can't go real far out doors due to the light it's a decent laser just for what you pay for it I feel it should be better made .. a better fine line then my DeWalt but my DeWalt laser I feel as build better and the acessories are better quality than a piece of bent steel the magnets are better on my DeWalt but I like my stabila for a factor of having a laser line and a laser plumb bob makes it nice when you're trying to align your line to Marks that are going to get covered up.. hope this helps you another fact that bums me out is you can't use a receiver with this like most models out these days you can use the receiver with it to go further distances including outside

Answer:	It has a magnet on the back but I have owned this for over a year and to be honest it's an okay laser but I recommend the DeWalt green laser better.. for many reasons first you have options to use it with a receiver or not to go further distances where low light control as well as DeWalt has a lot better control on the buttons and settings I cannot use the laser plumb bob by itself it always has to have a line included with it don't get me wrong it's okay but not the Stabila quality Iam used to.. it's just a everyday Chinese laser with their name on it the bracket that mounts to a wall is just a cheap piece of steel plate where do Walt gives you a clip with more adjustments all-in-all I recommend Walt or a Bosch laser over this and I've owned many different brands and used many different brands just thought this one would be better than it is hope that helps

Multiple Line Switching Functions

• This professional cross-line laser projects one 360° Horizontal and one 140° Vertical lines for all-around leveling coverage, even in big job-site.
• This laser level also projects up&down centered points on the floor and ceiling.
• Five modes can be freely selected independently: All Lasers on mode, 360 Horizontal mode, Vertical mode, Horizontal&Vertical mode and Plumb Points mode.

Self-leveling mode & Manual mode

When the laser tool is switched to the unlocked position, self-leveling mode is enabled. The laser beam will blink continuously at 2Hz when the tool is beyond self-leveling range (4°±1°).

Manual mode:

When the pendulum locked, you can place the laser tool at various angles to project non-level straight lines. The laser beam will blink every 3-5 seconds to remind you that it's not self-leveling now.

Pulse Mode

• Turn ON pulse mode: After power on, short press the button besides the power button to turn on the pulse mode. The indicator will light up in red.
• When the pulse mode turned on, the laser tool can be used with Huepar Line Laser Receiver (needs to be purchased separately) to work in brighter condition or a larger working distance up to 180ft.
• When use with a receiver, it’s necessary to turn on the pulse mode.
• It is compatible with Huepar Line Laser Receiver only.

Modes Of Operations

• Please follow the icon on the battery cover to install the battery properly（The battery is negative on the bottom side and positive on the middle side).
• Two ways of turn on the laser tool.
• Method 1: when the pendulum is in the locked position, press the button and keep it pressed for ≥ 2 seconds to turn on the laser tool. Activate the horizontal line and manual mode by default.
• Method 2: slide the pendulum to the unlock position, activate the horizontal line and the self-leveling mode by default
