Its a good light for other things and can be a helper to plants but isnt enough to sustain on its own.

Honestly, I've found it a little uncomfortable to use, without a lotion/moisturizer or serum. Plus the lotion helps the tool glide on my face, so I don't have to press as hard, and risk breaking the device.
