Answer:	Sorry for the delay in responding--been camping. Yes, this light must be centered since that is where the connection is on the lighting unit.

Answer:	Buying bulbs ain't what it used to be. I found some LED bulbs that are rated at 9.5 watts that illuminate the equivealent to a 60 watt bulb. I got them at Costco a couple years ago and really like them. They're light is rated at "daylight" which is a bright pure white. They look just like a regular bulb, not a CFL type. Anyway they look good with this fixture. But I don't see why any bulb would not work.
Question:	Can a regular 60 watt bulb (a reg bulb) go into these
Answer:	You can use LED light bulbs and Yes it can hang face up or face down. Its a beautiful addition to our remodeled bathroom. We have 6- 40 watt bulbs in it and its so nice and bright. We love it!
Question:	is this light battery operated
Answer:	Yes, it can be installed either way. We preferred to install it facing up because we wanted to use energy efficient light bulbs. This way the light bulbs are not visible. Also this light fixture is fairly large and we didn't want the lights to hang over the vanity mirror.
