Question:	Does this come with mounting screws
Answer:	I have to disagree with the other responders. The visor mount model will not work satisfactorily mounted on the right side. The angle at which it will be oriented if mounted on the right will render it essentially useless. The model that mounts on the helmet itself may work, though I no longer have a sample of that model to look at. However, unless you are riding on the wrong side of the road (the left side) or have vision problems with the left eye I don't see how mounting it on the right would be a consideration.
Question:	Can this be mounted pointing down
Answer:	The ball and socket joint is tight by design so the mirror stays in adjustment. Be brave and put some effort into pressing them together. Or, if you're uncomfortable with that, ask the seller if they will exchange the mirror for another one that is assembled. Mine came together so I did not have this issue. It's a great mirror, by the way. I love it.
Question:	what are the dimensions of the base that is attached to the wall
Answer:	Not really, IMHO the mirror is pretty dorky and does not really stay still while riding. Did not use it much after I got it. Not a good buy at all.

Answer:	Yes, it could but I find that the velcro does not always keep the mirror in the position you want.

Answer:	It's just one piece. It can actually be mounted on either handle, left or right, but you would obviously want it on the left side if you only have one.
Question:	What is the diameter and the height of the glass shades
Answer:	I clipped mine to the plastic lining inside my helmet, which worked well for me. I think it would depend on the style of your helmet and the width of the speac that you had on which to fasten the clamp. There are options! Hope this helps!
Question:	Can this fixture be mounted facing down
Answer:	If the mirror itself is slipping, then press its base harder into the socket. That helps to tighten it. If the clamp is what is slipping, make sure it is on a firm and big enough lip of your helmet edge that allows you to screw it in solidly. If you have it positioned in a good location, just tighten the screw-in stem tighter.
