| Answer: | I had a bulb burn out... It's somewhat difficult to change but you don't have to take the whole fixture down. You just need to unscrew the shaft from the base. When I installed it, I looped the ground wire around the screw which actually will support the globe and shaft when you are replacing the bulb, allowing it to hang while you put the new bulb in. I agree it's not the easiest to do, but absolutely do-able by yourself. |

| Answer: | Yeah, its water proof so wiping it down and washing it off is easy. It just hangs on the bowl so it's pretty easy to do and only the light probe is in the bowel area. Oh, it gets dirty but no worse than the bowl itself and you may clean it when the toilet get's it's cleaning, it's not a big deal at all.. I use Lysol spray and a towel to wipe everything down. First I'll tell you that I've had it turn on in a lit bathroom just by blocking enough of the light from the ceiling fixtures with my leg. So with that, either yours is defective, or there isn't enough light getting to it from the room by where its placed maybe. Just my two pennies. |
