Answer:	I would strongly recommend against it. I had meniscus surgery earlier this year, and cannot even imagine how much it would have hurt to use this device for that! All of your weight is on the shin, just below the knee - which is bent at a 90 deg angle. That's a big NOPE. We bought this because my son had a severe lower leg injury, so bending his knee was not a problem.
