The careful observer of this product will notice that Heath Zenith reduced their warranty on their "dual bright" motion sensors from what was originally 10 years to 2 years if that tells you anything.

Answer:	Its an outdoor fixture..so, yes it is made to take outdoor weather however it must be installed properly. Now, with that being said; I have been using this brand for over twenty years and some will last 3 years others 10 years...Its generally the motion sensor portion that will fail!! Hope this helps..

Answer:	The light only activates at night and not during the day - unless it is really overcast.You can make your sensitive and distance adjustments during the day - and the light does not come on but you will se a small red light blink instead - to let you know when the light would come on.I really like these lights, I have used 3 of them for many, many years and only recently just replaced 2 of them - the plastic covering over the sensor eventually gets brittle and cracks when you press on it - but the rest of the unit will hold up forever.

Question:	Does the motion-activation stay on as long as there is something in front of it? Like if a pet goes to lay in front of it
Answer:	A: Yes it comes with a T connector, bollard lamp, stake/spike, and extension cord. If you are purchasing multiple extensions, use the T connector from the last extension lamp to connect the first or base unit bollard to the chain. The base unit does not come with a T connector. The last lamp on the chain does not need the T connector as it’s cord can connect directly to its extension cable which connects to lamp n-1’s T connector. Ignore the video and literature that shows the final T connector capped on the downstream side at the final lamp. For example, for a setup with 1 base bollard and 2 extension bollards. Answer:	In my experience if it isn't indicated that you can mount either direction you probably shouldn't. Most outdoor light fixtures are designed to be instslled in wet areas so water doesn't pool inside. If mounted upside down when not designed that way it could lead to fire or premature disintegration from the inside out. I have coach lights I mounted upside down and discovered that the glass didn't sit correctly. The ocean air ate them up within a year and the wiring was exposed to salt air which made the fixture fail. If you are using Philips Hue bulbs it is important that the fixture is installed in the proper manner to protect them from the weather. Thry have alot more tech inside than a standard LED.
