Answer:	No, there is no built-in timer. The light comes on whenever there is low ambient light regardless of time of day or night.

Answer:	If you plug it in one way, the other outlet is NOT blocked. If you plug it in turned around 180 degrees, the other outlet would be blocked. In other words, the prongs are not centered on the unit so the orientation you choose determines whether it blocks the second outlet or not.

Answer:	No, it definitely will not go up to 220v. These nightlights use electroluminescent film as the light source, which operates at 120v. Even the glowing face of Timex Indiglo watches (Indiglo is their fancy name for electroluminescent film) uses circuitry to step the voltage of the watch battery up to 120v to operate the film. This nightlight would need a transformer to convert the 220v (it's actually 240v) to the 120v it operates at, and this thing is far, far too thin to house a transformer. It's basically just the film and two contacts connected to the wall prongs sandwiched between two sheets of plastic, that's it. Hopefully that long-winded answer is helpful to you (or anyone else that's curious).

Answer:	There is no problem in leaving this light plugged in all the time. I don't remember if it uses LEDs or electrolluminescence, but either one lasts a very long time. Since either process produces so little heat there is no practical limit to their lifespan. LEDs have a rated lifespan of 50-100K hours, and electroluminescent panels should last as long or longer,

Answer:	Neither the fixture nor the box indicates a color temp, but it is a very pleasant, warm/soft light. The best thing is the light is dimmable.
Question:	On when dark, off when light, right? Why are reviewers talking about motion detection
Answer:	They do not understand light sensor technology so when the presence of light is interrupted by walking past the device and their body casts a shadow/blocks/interrupts the presence of light, their mind thinks their motion is causing the light to turn on/off. Nope. It is a light sensing device and NOT a motion sensing device. If it were motion, it would not matter if in 100% darkness or 100% sunlight, as motion would activate the device - and not the presence or absence of light.
Question:	Does it cover the other outlet? Some people say yes and others say no. The pictures look like the other outlet is able to be used. Anybody know
Answer:	it doesn't cover the other outlet. I bought 4 of them and they all fit on 1/2 the plate leaving the other outlet free. These little lights are fabulous!
