As another person mentioned, hold your finger at the bottom/6o'clock spot on the color spectrum for 3 seconds, per the instructions, and it will slowly transition continuously through all the colors. Mine works great. The kids love it. I personally find it distracting when it does that so I'd rather choose one color, but yes, it definitely does do it.
